I visited Mum together with my two brothers and partners. Manor Farm made us welcome by letting us meet in the dining room. The chef had made a delicious Victoria sponge and we had plenty of tea and coffee. A lovely afternoon for all of us. Mum thoroughly enjoyed herself while we were together.

We visit my mother-in-law on a regular basis. It doesn't matter what is going on, we turn up and everyone is happy and very helpful. Staff are amazing with what they have to do and contend with. Would not put here any wear else. I think they all deserve five star. Thank you to everyone that look after
mum.

We worried like crazy about mum when she lived at home but once she moved into Manor Farm all those worries lifted, we became daughters again and not carers which makes a huge difference to all our lives.
The staff are so beautiful with mum, she loves then all as do we, their care and respect is
2nd to none, they are her extended family.
Yes her room could be a bit bigger and a bit more homely but she has everything that she needs.
Whenever we visit which is often, mum is always clean, her clothes are always clean, no food dribles etc like in hospital. Any medical worries are dealt with immediately and brought to our attention.
Mum has a lovely relationship with all the staff and in return she is thriving, yes she has her off days as do we all but that's when the carers come into their own and do everything they can to raise mums spirits.
Kylie has chosen her staff perfectly and is to be praised for running a warm comforting and loving home. Thank you all. Karen & Sue XX

My Nan has been at Manor Farm for about two years. The staff treat her with respect and dignity at all times and they are like family to our Nan and the other residents. Relatives and visitors are always made to feel welcome. The home is very clean and the food is cooked on site and always looks lovely.
Nan suffers from Dementia and the activities organised take this into consideration and Nan loves getting involved. Manor Farm has been an amazing home for my Nan and I'm so thankful for the staff for all that they do. I always recommend Manor Farm when asked as it is a lovely place to be.

My sister has lived at Manor Farm since July 2025. The staff have been marvellous with her. She loves the entertainment- singing and joining in the choruses. The staff have encourage her and her enjoyment is evident. She has been taken out in her wheelchair to cafes, parks and visits to the sister home
for lunches and even a 100th birthday party, all clearly enjoyed. Having previous experience with family in a care home we appreciate this and how it improves her quality of life. We visit, and the staff encourage without expecting anything from us.They have looked after her and called the doctor when necessary keeping us informed of progress. Last week she celebrated her 90th birthday and the staff made her feel special reading her card messages. There were lots of emotions and happy tears. She feels part of the Manor Farm family, which in turn allows us to visit our children, who live abroad with the knowledge she is being well looked after and feels safe.

Kylie and the lovely team at Manor Farm made a very difficult time that little bit easier. From the start Kylie was approachable and welcoming. I slept a little bit better at night knowing mum was well cared for. Sadly through no ones fault mum has had to move on after a few months. If the building
had a lift then mum would still be there. So sad to have to move. Thanks again to everyone for your patience and taking your time to listen to mum chat, have a laugh with her. She really was happy at Manor Farm. Thanks again and lots of love. Julie & family xx

Kylie manager was extremely helpful in enabling us to bring my sister in law from The Wirral to Manor Farm carehome a few 100 metres from our home in Kessingland. As we are her only family the journeys to and from the Wirral were taking its toll on our life. When the situation got worse she was there
to explain what to get organised and explain things to us.
When we eventually arrived the staff were wonderful. Welcoming and re-assuring us that she would be okay, which she was with their help

I Have no complaints about the care my mother receives.
The activities they do are really good my mother gets involved every time, see the pictures on social media so we know what's going on / what they are doing as the mother has dementia & she can't remember. All care staff are friendly ( management,
cleaners , cooks as well )
Can't wait for the new home to be built it's going to lovely for everyone.

My mum has been a resident at manor farm for the last 16 months ,with altzheimers and increasing frailty .
The staff at manor farm have given mum excellent care , as a daughter I am so grateful for the love and kindness given to her ,they are absolutely wonderful ,nothing is too much trouble for them.
Mum celebrated her 90th birthday in November, the staff were so very kind allowing us to have a small gathering of our close family, and kindly provided a beautiful afternoon tea ,we will never forget the memories that were made that day .
Thankyou for everything you do for mum and us as a family we appreciate everything xx

My nanny has been in Manor farm for around 18 months now, and the carers, domestics, cooks and the team as whole are absolutely wonderful. The activities lead is fantastic, and there is always something planned and engaging for the residents to be part of, which has given my nanny a new lease of life
since she arrived.
Nanny has always been treated with so much respect, kindness and care, and for the first time i can happily say i am absolutely sure that she is being looked after very well and she is in safe hands when we aren't able to visit. There is nothing that the team won't try and accommodate for and they are more than willing to help in whatever way they can.
When my nanny has taken a decline in her health recently, the team are always so helpful and making sure that she is checked on regularly, and she is always given fluids and whatever she needs, and they have been so kind to my family at difficult times. I cannot recommend this care home enough, wonderful place.

My dad is fast approaching a year living at Manor Farm. Previously, he lived alone.
I can honestly say he has flourished, he joins in all the activities offered (of which there are many!).
His health has improved, he's happy, stable and I cannot praise the staff and management enough.
It's always
a pleasure to visit. Thank you Manor Farm.

From the very start my Dad received excellent care at Manor Farm, he really started to thrive after previously going downhill at home alone, he got a new lease of life, his hobbies were encouraged in every way, I know he felt valued and respected, he was taken to the pub on his Birthday, to the barber,
the seaside for fish and chips, he loved the activities and the positive and encouraging attention he received, he especially loved the music and getting up for a dance, I could not imagine a better place than Manor Farm , he really received excellant , kind, loving care, Thankyou

I visited Manor Farm Care Home today as a guest. It was, from the moment I arrived, one of the friendliest places I have been.

Staff and residents made me feel so welcome. The building is decorated so brightly and contains beautiful personalised details that reflect the high level of care provided.

All in all I would state that it is one of the best I have ever visited. Congratulations to everyone who makes this place so amazing

My mum has been at Manor Farm since the spring of this year. It has taken mum a little while to adjust to her new surroundings, having lived in her former home for over 60 years. With the help, care and support of the staff, she has now settled in well. The dedication of the staff is obvious from
the moment you enter the home. The residents are treated with dignity and respect and their needs are met with diligence and compassion. Recently I joined mum for lunch at Manor Farm; the food was excellent. Good, nutritional, well balanced meals are served on a daily basis, along with refreshments throughout the day. I am extremely happy with the care my mum is receiving here.

My Mum has been a resident of Manor Farm care home for almost 2 years now and has been treated with kindness and respect since day one. Initially Mum found the transition from living at home and a life of independence quite upsetting but with the care and support of Manor Farms brilliant staff she soon
settled and felt safe and at home. Manor Farm is unlike most care homes as it is a home not an institution nor hotel, family and friends are welcome and encouraged to spend time with their loved ones. Food is exceptional cooked by Keith and Donna breakfast is when the resident wakes not at an allotted time and can be a full English if they want. Dinner is a choice of 2 meals tasty and nutritious plus a choice of 2 desserts (Mum has even put on some weight) teatime can be sandwiches or special requests plus of course refreshments in between meals. It seems wrong to say staff as they are far more than that to the residents when you see the genuine affection as they cuddle your confused mum.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.838)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.838) out of 10 for Manor Farm Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 32 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.838 for Manor Farm Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (324 Excellents x 5) + (45 Goods x 4) + (8 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 377 Ratings = 4.838
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Manor Farm Care Home is based on 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 25 registered maximum number of service users is 5, which has been reached with 32 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
