I couldn’t ask for a better place or staff to care for my nanny. She is constantly smiling, has made several friends and is always occupied with many many choices of activities. The staff always keep us informed and involved with calls, photos and videos. Considering my nanny didn’t want to leave her house and go into care, she hasn’t stopped smiling since she stepped foot in Manor Farm. I cannot recommend Manor Farm highly enough.

My mother in law has been a resident at Manor Farm since February 2021. Through these very difficult and challenging times, the staff and management have all done their very best to ensure that the patients, their families and of course themselves remain safe, well and optimistic. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Everyone who works there is committed to the same outcome, the safety and well being of the residents. Keeping the ‘troops’ entertained and well-fed paramount. Keeping family informed of their loved ones well-being spot on. We were all as a family concerned at whether our once fiercely independent Mum, mum in law and Grandma would settle into care home life. We are delighted to say she has done so and very well too and that has to be down to the warm and caring attitude of all the staff at Manor Farm. Thank you and well done.

It was very difficult for all of us when my lovely nan had to go into a care home especially during the Covid pandemic but when visiting and seeing the lovely residents and staff we knew she would be happy. The communication with staff is excellent and I love seeing all the photos of the residents having fun.

Was so lovely to be able to visit my grandad again. All staff were very friendly and welcoming and it all felt very Covid safe.
Everywhere was extremely clean and the smell of home-cooked food was really nice.
The garden looked really lovely and a great area for the residents and visitors to enjoy.

Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the help, love and care they have given my mum. Mum is so happy and made a lovely friend. The staff keep me informed with everything that is going on and I could not ask for a better group of people to be looking after Mum.

My nanny has been in the care home for about 18 months she loves it. I know she has a special friend in there and they have a lot of good times together. I know my nanny did not want to go into a home but she is so happy there and they have really looked after her and kept us in regular contact with her. There has been great activities for her and she has excelled so much thank you.

Manor Farm are Fantastic! My nan moved into the home a few years back and they are brilliant with her. She has made so many friends both residents and carers, they are always participating in activities with her and the other residents and they care for them like they are their own family. We receive regular photos and updates on the Facebook page of her and she is always smiling. We know she is in brilliant hands. We couldn't be more grateful for the staff. They deserve a 100 rating!

It’s difficult to have to decide to get more help for your loved ones. A great aunt is here so when it came to somewhere for my lovely nan I knew this was the right place. The care that the staff give is absolutely brilliant. I cannot praise Manor Farm Care Home enough. All through the Covid pandemic, when we couldn’t visit, I loved seeing all the activities that the staff and residents did together. Lovely photos of my nan, baking, colouring and making bunting. Just great. Well done to you all.

My mother has been in your home for 3 and a half years and during that time I have found her care from the staff nothing but professional, friendly and caring. My mother like probably lots of your residents would rather be in their own home but requires the need for her to be somewhere she can be cared for and somewhere we are comfortable in the fact that she is being fed and kept warm and safe. It has been difficult over the past 7 or 8 months to visit her but we have never been made to feel we cannot contact her by phone whenever we wish to. Thank you.

My mum went into Manor Farm Care Home from hospital in March because of the covid virus. We were not allowed to go inside the home during the summer. We sat in the garden under the gazebo. The gardens were full of flowers which made a happy environment. We could see Mum was happy, content, well looked after and treated with kindness. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I don't have to worry because whenever there is a problem, I am contacted and involved in any decisions to be made. When we visit the Manor Farm Care Home Facebook page, all the residents are happy and smiling, and enjoying the activities. The staff make a big fuss of everyone on their birthday and make them feel really special with a birthday cake.

Manor Farm Care home accepted my husband efficiently in what was a crisis time in our lives. I have been unable to visit and there are few members of the family and friends able to see him. But, those that did visit were very impressed with the way he was treated. They have worked hard to surmount some of the difficulties of his care e.g. cutting his beard and when I asked for some news of him they put photos on Facebook.

Whilst, of course, we would prefer that Mum was well enough to be at home, I am so glad to have her staying at Manor Farm Care Home in the knowledge she is safe and well cared for. Mum (late-stage dementia) now needs assistance with most daily activities, including eating, personal hygiene and after a recent fall, being able to walk. It is great to see the carers spending one on one time with Mum encouraging her in every way and remaining patient when she doesn't understand.
All the staff and carers do a fantastic job of looking after Mum and the other residents all with complex care needs. The staff have a great sense of teamwork and you can see they truly care for each resident as if one of their own which is lovely to see. Even all the staff who are not part of the core care team, from the cleaning team to the cooks and maintenance do a fantastic job of engaging with the residents.

The care home itself is also homely and does not have a clinical feel like many places do.

We have been very pleased with the care provided for our parents during their stay at Manor Farm and particularly in the last couple of months after the sad death of our father. The staff have worked tirelessly during the Covid crisis, to keep residents happy and safe and we are particularly grateful for the friendly and patient support they have given our mother during this very difficult time for her.
