The home offers short breaks, respite or long term care packages and also adopts a systematic approach to the requirements of each individual.

This small boutique care home has a focus on the individual being at the heart of everything they do.

Activities are offered 7 days a week that are tailored to the individual needs of the residents. The residents have weekly trips out and they love to go somewhere different every week.

There is five-star dining with the chef cooking wonderful dishes that the residents have had input choosing.

Mum came to Manor Farm in January after being in hospital for 14 weeks, the welcome she got was lovely and warm from all the staff, who are amazing by the way. As a family, we are very happy to see Mum being looked after in such a lovely place, her room is pretty, with all her own things, the food is
good with plenty of cups of tea for all visitors to enjoy while listening to the entertainment in an afternoon. I know my mum will be happy here, thank you!

Manor Farm has made my mum very welcome. They are warm, friendly and very caring. A very professional welcome to the family too as it is always a difficult decision. We feel confident Mum will be happy here. The food is good and so is the entertainment. Nothing is too much trouble.

My 90-year-old mum was in a home in London and was very unhappy there. Sometimes we would visit and find her in tears. My brother found Manor Farm Care Home near where he lives. We feel lucky to have gotten her a place there. The home is a very attractive building set in green and leafy surroundings.
It is just outside a small village of Kessingland which is very close to the sea where she can get some sea air and be walked (in her wheelchair) along the beach paths. There is also a nice pub on the beach where Mum can take a glass of her favourite tipple. The staff at the home are amazing. They chat and are jolly all the time to various residents, and are attentive to all their needs. They also laid on a very nice 90th birthday party for Mum. She is being looked after well. We believe she is very happy there at Manor Farm Care Home.

Impressed with the care home from the moment they took my mother in. The staff immediately extended the hand of friendship and took great care of Mum. Management explained how things work in the home and produced an extensive care plan. Communication with staff is easy and nothing is too much trouble.
Mum has settled in well and is very happy at Manor Farm, highly recommend this care home.

My mum was in a home in London and had deteriorated to the point we had said our goodbyes on two occasions. She would rock in her wheelchair in a manic depression.
We decided to transfer her to Manor Farm as a last-ditch attempt, the best decision we ever made. She has been here since August and
is so happy. She, and us, love the staff who are all so caring, crazy, funny and so attentive to everyone's needs. Mum actually gets up and walks a little with her walker and isn't left in her wheelchair all day.
My mum is so much better now we actually get to take her out for short trips to the theatre, for lunches, etc. and each day we visit she is so happy and always laughing. It's great that everyone is encouraged to sit in the communal lounge or dining room and mix and are not left in their bedrooms.
The food is great, the home is great and the staff are fantastic.

Mum gets looked after well staff are very polite at all times. Can't do enough for Mum. It has made Mum's life so much better and it is good to know she is being looked after and not on her own anymore.

My brother-in-law has just passed away. I was happy with how he was looked after. For three and a half years kept clean and tidy. He was so happy when he was well. Thank you to all the staff. He even joined in with some of the activities such as bingo.

My uncle received excellent care, especially with the last 2 months before he passed. Nothing too much bother with the staff. Even though towards the end he became bit more aggressive. Just want to say a huge thank you to all the carers

Placing my mother in care was very last minute due to the ill health of my father. The Manor Farm team were beyond amazing, completely blowing any expectations.
The family are incredibly grateful to the carers in particular who visited my mother prior to her being admitted and with good humour and

I am writing this after the death of my lovely Dad who was a resident at Manor Farm for 6 years.
He was cared for and supported wonderfully by all the staff throughout his stay and most importantly the last week he was kept so comfortable and free of pain. They helped me through the last difficult

I came here for respite after 15 stays in hospital (including 3 operations) in the past 18 months. I was made most welcome. All the staff were very understanding of my needs and concerns. As to the carers, they were there on hand 24 hours a day or night. I didn't have to lift a finger any request was
fulfilled in a couple of minutes.

Since my mother-in-law has been at Manor Farm, she always looks happy and contented. The only thing is as you come into the care home it's a stone drive and if you take Mum out in her wheelchair it's quite hard to push it, a path of some description would be good.

I recently stayed for lunch with my Mother then went for afternoon tea at a local restaurant. The staff are always happy and very helpful. I have an Aunt who has been a resident here for a number of years who my cousin and I visited regularly so when my Mother needed more care I knew where she would
be looked after very well.

We were invited to celebrate King Charles's coronation at Manor Farm. We had a wonderful day with Mum. The food that was laid on was fantastic, the entertainer that came was so good. As he sang to the clients their faces beamed, it was a joy to see. I did notice all the time we were there, there was
not one time the clients were left alone. Excellent. Thank you all at Manor Farm.

Kylie

Kylie Child

Job Title: Manager

Joined: 2014

Kylie joined us in 2014 and was promoted to Head of Care in July 2019, having previously worked as care/team leader. She became Deputy Manager in February 2022 and was promoted to Manager in 2023. Kylie is responsible for the smooth running of the home and care staff development. When she isn’t at work, Kylie enjoys family time with her husband and two children. She particularly enjoys her time at the beach, even in the Winter!

Shona Boyle

Joined: 2008

Shona joined us in 2008 and was promoted to Team Leader in 2011, having worked here as a carer and activities coordinator. She became Head of Care in February 2022. Shona has also worked in Manor Farm's kitchen as a cook, and as part of the domestic team. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and three stepchildren. Shona loves fishing and shopping and has a very musical background. She has a great interest in the royal family and sang to HRH Queen Elizabeth at Snape Malting.

Kate joined us in 2019 and this is her first position working in care. As Manor Farm's Administrator, Kate is responsible for our accounts and office management. When she is not at work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls and she also breeds working Labradors. Kate enjoys walking the dogs with her girls, especially on the beach.

Lilli is the head housekeeper at Manor Farm. She joined in 2022 as a housekeeper and was promoted to Head Housekeeper due to her great working skills.


Lilli is passionate about her job and is also an infection control lead. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her horse (Seren) and going to the gym.
