My brother-in-law has just passed away. I was happy with how he was looked after. For three and a half years kept clean and tidy. He was so happy when he was well. Thank you to all the staff. He even joined in with some of the activities such as bingo.

My uncle received excellent care, especially with the last 2 months before he passed. Nothing too much bother with the staff. Even though towards the end he became bit more aggressive. Just want to say a huge thank you to all the carers
You made the last 3 years of his life far more pleasant than he was used to.

We knew he was safe and being well looked after. Thanks again.

Placing my mother in care was very last minute due to the ill health of my father. The Manor Farm team were beyond amazing, completely blowing any expectations.

The family are incredibly grateful to the carers in particular who visited my mother prior to her being admitted and with good humour and endless empathy explained everything and made the experience as easy as I could have ever hoped. Angels.

I am writing this after the death of my lovely Dad who was a resident at Manor Farm for 6 years.

He was cared for and supported wonderfully by all the staff throughout his stay and most importantly the last week he was kept so comfortable and free of pain. They helped me through the last difficult days for which I thank them so much.

I came here for respite after 15 stays in hospital (including 3 operations) in the past 18 months. I was made most welcome. All the staff were very understanding of my needs and concerns. As to the carers, they were there on hand 24 hours a day or night. I didn't have to lift a finger any request was fulfilled in a couple of minutes.

Since my mother-in-law has been at Manor Farm, she always looks happy and contented. The only thing is as you come into the care home it's a stone drive and if you take Mum out in her wheelchair it's quite hard to push it, a path of some description would be good.

I recently stayed for lunch with my Mother then went for afternoon tea at a local restaurant. The staff are always happy and very helpful. I have an Aunt who has been a resident here for a number of years who my cousin and I visited regularly so when my Mother needed more care I knew where she would be looked after very well.

The home is like one big family with the staff treating the residents with respect but also lovingly and with great passion. Although suffering from dementia, Mum always seemed contented on our visits and we would be offered a cup of tea by the wonderful staff. I have absolutely no regrets about moving Mum into Manor Farm and would recommend it to anyone with the need to find a caring home for a relative.

They treated every resident as an individual, tailoring things to suit them. There is no regimental timetable, if Dad wanted a lie-in, that was okay. Every day there is some form of stimulation. Dad could be awkward but they willingly dealt with his moods and gave him lots of encouragement. All the residents were clean and tidy. The staff are very caring, friendly and welcoming. Dad really enjoyed the garden, trips out and entertainment. We had looked at other homes but I am so pleased that we opted for Manor Farm. Visitors were always welcome at any time.

My sister has been in the home for about 16 months now. As a result of her condition, she cannot communicate very well, and it must be difficult for the staff to understand her needs. I've always found the staff extremely patient, kind and caring to my sister, which is all you can ask for. They take her to activities, and although it is hard for her to join in, she seems to enjoy the interaction. I feel the staff can't do enough for the residents, including my sister, and the residents all seem happy and contented, which gives great peace of mind to the family.

The care home provided excellent care for my 96-year-old mother. She was so appreciative of all the personal attention during her respite period and for 4 weeks thereafter until she passed peacefully at the local hospital. Thank you so much for making my mum so comfortable.
