Every week we go to visit my friend and it is such a lovely care home. The staff are really efficient and nothing is too much for them. The short while my friend has been there he seems so relaxed and happy. He seems so much more alert and he does remember doing some activities. He has dementia but
it is nice to see him being more sociable.

Lovely experience whilst visiting on a Saturday. All the residents were having their nails done and being pampered. The staff are so loving and caring and the management team are so approachable, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food smells great and the home is clean and tidy.

My mother was unable to care for herself in her own home, so we made the heartbreaking decision to move her to Nayland House. We could not be happier with the care and support she has received since she moved into the home in December 2022.

Everybody that I have met at Nayland House caring for my mum is very friendly and seems to be the genuinely caring sort. She is in the dementia unit and I feel that she is in a safe place with her needs being well cared for 24/7.

My stepfather has been a resident for a year now; it's the 3rd care home that he has been to. I am now satisfied that this is the place that cares for him the best to live his life with dementia.

My mum lived here for eight and a half years. She lived in a clean, cheerful and friendly environment throughout this time. I always felt she was well cared for and was in a safe place. Her room was always clean, along with her clothes, bedding etc. She had dementia and was given activities to suit
her abilities. In the few days leading to her passing, we were kept informed and she was treated with dignity and was not alone. I cannot thank the staff enough.

My sister settled very quickly into her new home, and her health improved very quickly. Both nursing care for her badly ulcerated legs and her general health, along with dementia care, her well-being has stabilised. When we last visited, bringing with us her son, who lives in Italy, we sat in the garden
because it was a nice spring day. However, the seating was inadequate, and my sister's slippers were not suitable on the wet ground. However, she may not have wanted to comply! Thank you very much for your ongoing care.

My father has been a resident for a couple of years.
In that time and during covid hes been kept safe and well.
When he had problems not only was the staffs response instant, I was kept informed of what was wrong with him and how the problems were being resolved.
I can't speak more highly of them.

For 17 years, I have served as the Registered Manager at Nayland House. My commitment is driven by a deep passion to impact residents positively, creating an environment for their happiness.


Beyond administrative duties, my leadership focuses on guiding staff to uphold excellence in care. My managerial style, marked by enthusiasm, reflects a genuine passion throughout Nayland House.
