My husband was moved to Nayland House from hospital in the midst of the COVID pandemic. Despite the difficulty posed by these circumstances the home and staff could not have been more welcoming and supportive.

Nayland Care Home provided my father with the care, support and assistance he needed for the last eighteen months of his life. Very good.
Very clean.
Caring staff.
My mother-in-law was there for three years with a debilitating degenerative disease and staff were very good; with some almost becoming friends. They really looked after her and were sensitive when needed.

I find the people at the home very pleasant, always welcoming and ready to listen to any concerns. My friend needs a stick to walk with and we do have to try and find her one every time we visit.

My father deteriorated after a short stay in hospital. The care home were quick to provide a proper hospital bed and high tech mattress as he developed bed sores in hospital. The staff dealing with him were kind and sensitive to his needs. Gradually my father needed more and more care and they provided
this as the situation changed. I also felt well supported during this time and the staff were professional and compassionate until the end.

The very high standard of care given to my auntie during April 2019 - October 2019 when she was in Nayland House was outstanding. My auntie was very weak and frail following an illness. The staff team were friendly, kind, polite, compassionate, respectful, patient and professional, just as they had
been with my mum who was in Nayland House four years ago for a short time. This is why I chose Nayland House again for my auntie as I knew she would be well-cared for and without a doubt she was. The staff were always welcoming on our visits and always telephoned me with any concerns that they had regarding my auntie's health and well-being. The home was always warm, fresh, tidy and clean. I saw that the staff worked very hard caring for the residents and also to provide a homely environment. Our family cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work and understanding right up until my auntie passed away at 93 years old. I highly recommend Nayland House.

Nayland House has supported my grandfather very well through his journey with Alzheimer's disease. As his needs have changed, the staff have adapted their approach in the best ways to ensure he gets the care he needs and throughout to remain as independent as possible. The staff have shown excellent
skills and attentiveness.
As he is now at the end of his life and is now receiving palliative care. Manager and staff are fantastic.

Staff are friendly and happy. My grandfather-in-law always smiled and had a joke with the staff. He seemed very relaxed and at home here. The manager and deputy manager are extremely friendly and approachable.
Whenever we have wanted to talk to them, they have always made themselves available and supported

We cannot praise the staff of this home enough for the care they gave our Mother during her 9 months stay. They always treated Mum with compassion, understanding and dignity and went over and above to deal with her condition. Families members were kept advised of any difficulties and visitors were

My Mum received extremely good care whilst at Nayland House. The home was always clean and all the staff were committed and helpful. Staff always communicated when my Mum needed medical help form GP or paramedics. All of this helped with our experience during tough times for my Mum.

The care given to my mother during her 5 years has been outstanding. Staff have shown nothing but understanding, compassion and respect, whilst always ensuring her dignity. Mum's personal hygiene and other needs have been completed to a high standard of care, always clean and very well attended, completely
being reliant on others.
The manager is excellent, ensuring very high standards of care and service are provided and maintained by her staff, always friendly and approachable. Any issues are dealt with promptly to a satisfactory conclusion.
