I was very pleased with the standard of accommodation, the staff, the refurbished rooms were excellent with reassuring safety precautions. The staff were excellent, friendly, approachable and helpful. I have scored a good for facilities as the dining room has not yet been refurbished.
Thank you for your review, your feedback is very important to us.
I am extremely satisfied that my father is being looked after with the best care.
Thank you very much for your review, your feedback is very important to us.
Very friendly welcoming home. All staff appear well trained in their knowledge of caring for the elderly in whatever level of care they need.
Always a pleasure to visit and just mum but other residents and staff members. Made welcome and always offered refreshments etc. Kept informed of events and fund-raising activities. A warm happy haven.
We saw Mum today which was Halloween. The staff had gone to a great deal of trouble to decorate the home for this occasion (and themselves)! A big 'well done' for such a lovely atmosphere.
Mum is always looking well cared for and the staff are welcoming and genuine. There is a happy vibe at Rivermead, the home is well kept and clean and undergoing some upgraded facilities and improvements which will optimise the best in care. I am very happy that Mum is at Rivermead because the staff are attentive and caring and offer a range of entertainment and activities. Thank you all.
The home was very welcoming to visitors. Mum was having her hair done and we were offered to wait in the dining area and offered a pot of tea by the manager who was very approachable and assisting the residents - nice to see. Mum seems very happy in her home, many thanks.
Also, the poppy display by the front door was a nice thing to do.
Extremely satisfied in all respects.
When visiting the home manager and staff are very friendly and happy to help with any concerns. Overall, the staff such as the carers, kitchen staff and cleaners work very well.
Could not fault any treatment I received. No activities.
The new part ie refurbishment is done well and is very comfortable. The toilet en-suite is not really suitable if you were in a wheelchair or if you have difficulty with water eg using a walking frame. Needs toilet and towel holders.
Staff are very willing to help and are very caring.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Easy to arrange respite care. Good impression on visiting beforehand that the home was run well. The room is comfortable with a good view overlooking the river.
It's a pleasure to do this review, I think the staff are lovely and friendly and seem happy in their work. My relative is very comfortable and likes the food and all the help the staff give her. She has had a few health issues but they couldn't have done more for her.
All the staff including the manager, when we have met, have been friendly, welcoming and helpful. An excellent home.
Since Cornwallis Care took over there has been steady improvement in every respect, difficult with the ongoing structural work. The staff have been excellent working under difficult conditions and the rate of improvement has now increasingly evidenced by the general ambience.
Amazing really, from when dad was admitted here, he has improved and I'm personally very grateful how everybody (Staff) tried their best to help his quality of life in his transition of environment (being an outside person). Yes, he can be difficult but am confident that everybody did their best with the knowledge and understanding they had of him. Thank you Rivermead View.
My mother is much happier in Rivermead View than she was in a previous home. she is well attended to. The staff are extremely patient and kind. Mum is always clean and well presented.
A beautiful care home with polite and helpful staff. I frequently visit and every time I get offered Tea/Coffee. Lovely staff.
Mum has been in Rivermead View since February 2017. She is very happy there. I find it a very caring home and have no worries about mum in there.
Dear Lynne - thank you so much for the lovely review. We are delighted that mum is happy living here at Rivermead. Tracy.
Very good quality all around. No complaints or problems - highly recommended.
