Upon entering, guests are welcomed by the scent of fresh flowers throughout the resident conservatory. Beyond this sits the lively foyer, where residents enjoy people watching and listening to music from the era. The large lounge, with high ceilings, widescreen TVs, games and a technology station, creates a sociable hub, while the adjoining dining room is always full of energy at mealtimes.

Residents benefit from varied twice-daily activities, a hydration station, the popular afternoon drinks trolley, the wishing tree and several peaceful viewing spots overlooking the moors.

My brother was a resident at Bishopsteignton House for just over two months. I am his only relative and live in the East of England so was only able to visit him on a couple of occasions. The care he received was wonderful. All the staff were very caring and made the last weeks of his life happy and
comfortable. Their support for me at this difficult time was excellent. All members of staff were kind and reassuring and I was kept informed. I cannot thank them enough.

Mum took up residence in March after accepting the need for 24-hour care. This was not going to be provided whilst still living at home. The move to Bishopsteignton House was not without it's difficulties and challenges, but gradual acceptance of the new surroundings, and an appreciation of the new
regime took place. My sister and I have been extremely grateful for the care and compassion shown - such a huge weight off our minds. My mother enjoys the friendliness of the staff and the warmth, comfort and outstanding views from her room. It has now become a home from home.

5 star. Simply the best!!
As soon as you enter Bishopsteignton House you immediately know that this is where you want your loved one to be looked after. Everything is of an exceptional standard from the building to the loving and caring staff. It's management team are highly professional and this cascades
through all the staff in every department and aspects of the residents daily care. Individual needs are continually assessed and nothing is overlooked in order to maintain the highest levels of healthcare and their overall well-being.

My Mother was resident at Bishopteignton House for two years up until her death in February. The quality of care she received whilst at the home was excellent. All the staff have a commitment to welfare showing loving compassion empathy & patience. My Mother was treated with dignity throughout. I
have no hesitation in recommending this facility.

The manager and staff were really kind and helpful and supported mum to get her back on her feet and walking so that she was able to go home. A lovely building in a really nice situation and well cared for. Very friendly staff and clients made for a pleasant stay.
