My father moved into Clayfield in January 2019. Since then, he has gained much-needed weight, he enjoys most meals and has gained his strength back. I would say my father's mixed dementia hasn't got worse since being in Clayfield as he is more sociable and less isolated. The staff always make time for
him despite being busy, he is given a lot of freedom and enjoys gardening and music activities. The staff have made such an effort to get to know him and he feels safe and I am given peace of mind.

Both my mum and my dad moved to this care home in December after a fall in November at their home. Unfortunately, the fall led to them both passing as a result of the injuries they received from that.
From the moment we went to look at the home, right through the period of them being cared for and
their subsequent passing, I cannot fault the care and dedication of all the staff we encountered. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them and many often went over and above the call of duty. After my mum passed I was touched by the respect the staff gave her and treated her with the utmost dignity preparing her for the funeral directors. We were frequent visitors and always met with a smile and offered tea and support as well as regular updates on any medical visits he had received during any given day. Sadly he passed but when the doctor wanted him to go to the hospital for his palliative care he was adamant that he wanted to stay.

This is a very friendly and homely care home. Staff are excellent, as it only has 14 residents and everyone is an individual. The staff have time to chat, care, help and look after all. My mother's room is lovely, it is very clean and bright. Food is good and mum loves a sherry before lunch. Mum is
safe at Clayfield. She has not had any falls and feels secure. Mum has a visit from a family member every day, this makes her feel at home.

Since my father moved into Clayfield Care Home, the staff have done very well looking after him and his needs.
He seems to be enjoying his life there.
I have no problem with him being there or the way he is looked after.

My mother has been with Clayfield Care Home since November 2016. It broke my heart to see her go into a home. I have for the last 18 years had mum living with us.
My wife died of cancer 7 years ago so its just been me since. I found Clayfield Care Home second to none. The care etc is excellent. I
cannot fault them especially the manager she always answers any queries you have. The staff are all great more of a family. I still wish I had mum with me but due to health, I cannot. Clayfield are great. 110% care and understanding.

My father was a resident for the final year of his life and the care he received during that time was exemplary, being empathetically tailored to meet his individual needs. He was shown kindness and great patience by all the staff and it was a comfort to know he happily referred to it as 'home'.
