My dad was in this care home for the last 18 months, he felt at home there.
He was looked after by lovely staff who showed professionalism.
Dad loved his food and was very well looked after by the kitchen staff.
The home always seemed clean and tidy and during Covid, all the required rules regarding
PPE were followed.
I have recommended The Croft to a friend of mine for their family.

In March 2022, we were heartbroken to know it was time to find a care home for dad but we couldn't struggle to keep him safe anymore. With no experience of care homes, it was a daunting experience but the staff at The Croft have been so lovely and helpful. Their help has lessened the guilt mum has felt
too. It wasn't easy at first because he was very confused, but he is now settled there. Although he doesn't recognise any family for more than a few seconds now, he has clearly formed bonds with the staff and they treat him very well. Knowing it's time to find a care home is a very difficult decision, but we have been so pleased and relieved that he's at the Croft. He likes his meals including Sunday roasts! Visiting is easy to arrange, and the staff are always on hand to answer questions and to give updates.

The Croft is an excellent care home in Newton Abbot. As always, homes are only as good as the staff - here all staff are excellent. Caring, compassionate and good-humoured, they look after the residents superbly. The home is a joy to visit as all relatives/friends are made to feel welcome and can come
and go at any time. Well run by a friendly and forward looking management team. My Mother loves it here and enjoys her days featuring visiting entertainers, the 'animal man' with his collection of pets and having her hair and nails done by visiting professionals or just relaxing in her room with lovely views across the countryside.
I would recommend the home to anyone.
