Bedrooms are spacious and can be personalised to reflect each resident’s tastes and memories, helping create a true home-from-home.

We have had regular contact with this care home for several years, during which time both the resident and ourselves have been treated with the utmost care and respect. We remain very impressed with the quality of input from all the carers and the high expertise and professionalism of the recreational
therapist and administration staff.

Today I was invited by my mother-in-law to join her and my husband to a review regarding her sister. As always Exmouth House gives above and beyond staff time, care and above all respect to each and every resident. No matter what time we visit or what day the staff are incredible- my husbands auntie
is 95yrs, not only has she got late stages of Alzheimer's but has also had a stroke- her care is amazing, no pressure marks, nails, hair clean, kept so comfortable as all residents.

Kat has 20 years of experience in Health and Social Care. I hold a QCF level 5 diploma in management and leadership and have undertaken a variety of courses including creative activities for people living with dementia, I have always aimed to provide excellent care and lead by example.


Kat enjoys supporting people living with dementia and has done this in a variety of roles including helping set up a large specialised unit for person-centred dementia care in Somerset and improving environments using assistive technology to enhance the accuracy of recording and the quality of care experienced by the residents.

Ethan joined Amica Care in March 2025 and brings over 10 years of experience in customer service and administration. They play a key role in helping Exmouth House run smoothly day to day. Ethan enjoys being part of a supportive team and takes pride in making sure everything behind the scenes is well organised. With a warm, approachable manner and a can-do attitude, they're always happy to lend a hand wherever needed.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys being creative - they are involved in lighting design for local theatre productions and loves spending time at the pottery wheel.

Liz has worked in the care setting for the past five years, firstly as a carer & then an Activities Coordinator. Prior to that, she was a dental nurse for 17 years working in both Exmouth & Exeter.
