She has now decided at the age of 88 to stay as a long term resident which is terrific news for her and the family as it means we get the piece of mind that she is well looked after and happy in her new residence. Great job from Tracey, Isabela and all the kind caring team. Thank you so much

I visit my wife several times a week I am always made welcome by both the staff and management team. My wife is well cared for by well trained and experienced carers.

Generally well occupied. Nearly always smiling and happy. Fairly pricey, but her happiness compensates.

My mum has been attending daycare at Rose Lodge since moving to the area approx 8 months ago. We had planned a few days away and as mum has quite advanced dementia would only consider Rose Lodge for respite. Mum stayed for 2 weeks and each time I popped in mum was extremely happy and settled. Such super staff who are all so calm and cheerful, despite working with dementia patients which can at times be both very challenging and rewarding. The managers are lovely and approachable and always make the time to chat with residents and families to make everyone feel valued. Thank you Rose Lodge for all the care you show everyone.

Moving my grandmother to Rose Lodge was the best thing for her. Right from day 1 they recognised her needs and the difference in her was immediate. The staff are extremely patient, outstanding, showing warmth, empathy, and understanding. Continually engaging, stimulating and encouraging the residents, and always with a smile. The Rose Lodge family is amazing.

My mother has been a resident of Rose Lodge for many years. Rose Lodge staff have offered excellant person centred care for mum and adapted to her changing needs as her functioning has declined. I have always felt she was included and valued by the Rose Lodge team but seeing her response to the familiar voices of staff members, tells me this is more than just "care"... there is a genuine connection and personal warmth from every member of staff. From the Head of Care to the Night staff, kitchen staff, managers and amazing care workers, there is a culture of respect, sensitivity and positive regard for all residents. The team have offered support and understanding to our family as well as mum, ensuring we are sensitively appraised of her health needs at every stage and delivering comfortable and dignified care throughout.

A slightly quirky place, much more characterful than most care homes and all the better for that. Highly recommended!

Despite our late arrival, we were greeted by the manager. A warm welcome was so appreciated due to my father's long journey from Scotland. Rose lodge is a wonderful place and my father has settled in very well. He enjoys the activities and all members of staff are amazing, curious, caring and lots of fun. In comparison to his previous home, Rose Lodge smells wonderful and is kept very clean.

Staff very welcoming, coffee morning set out lovely with everyone included. Fun game to play as well. Staff were friendly. Spent time talking to everyone, residents and visitors. Residents not only receive the best of care but get to do so many fun, engaging activities, and trips out. My gran is so happy here and is always smiling, singing and dancing. It's so lovely to see she is well cared for and still getting to enjoy life.

Rose Lodge is amazing. Having recently moved my mum here I couldn't be happier with the care and attention to her needs she has received. The staff are incredible, continually encouraging and interacting with the residents, at all levels and times of the day, and it is always done calmly and with a smile. The atmosphere at Rose Lodge is a credit to all the staff. Thank you.

My dad spent nearly a year and a half at Rose Lodge, from September 2024 to January 2026, and it was absolutely the best thing we could have done for him at that stage in his life. From the day he moved in we were struck by the warmth and good cheer from every member of staff, and how positive and engaging the atmosphere was - which makes all the difference with dementia. He ate well, was kept busy, and was looked after beautifully. He couldn't have been in better hands. In the last week and a half of his life, when he came home to Rose Lodge having being discharged from hospital on end of life care, the kindness and compassion that he received - and us, his family, too - was a huge comfort at a heartbreaking time. We will always be enormously grateful to Rose Lodge, and will think of his time there with fond appreciation (which I never thought we could have said, when we first began looking for care homes). Thank you so much x

All the staff are very focused on person centered care and have developed such lovely bonds with mum, helping her to feel safe, entertained, loved and supported. Helping her to live her best life with Denentia. Can't thank them enough, highly recommended Roselodge.

My mother has been with Rose Lodge for over 5 years and I wouldn't want her anywhere else. Staff are extremely friendly and management are always available for any concerns I may have. Mums room is comfortable and staff are always there for her.

The staff do not wear uniform, increasing the feel of being 'at home' rather than 'in a home'.

My mother has dementia, but is physical very active. Other care providers could not look after her needs. She is pretty rude to the other residents as they are less mobile than she is. So the staff here step in and take her out regularly on a 1 on 1 basis. She has been taken horse riding (a great passion of her's) and multiple trips to the beach and shops. We speak by video call regularly, which is another great service they supply.

Rose Lodge is an amazing care home. The team are dedicated to providing exemplary care for my Mum. They encourage her to join in activities they know she enjoys and respects her wishes when she needs her quiet time. We always receive a warm welcome when we visit Mum and the environment is uplifting. I cannot thank the team enough for the wonderful care and support they give to Mum.

Excellent care home, doing a fantastic job with my mother who has quite serious dementia. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff really don't seem to mind spending a lot of one to one time with individuals such as my mother. When she expressed some nostalgia for riding, they took her out to the local stables to take a horse out. They constantly organise trips and excursions as well as activities to keep their residents engaged and enjoying every day. Very highly recommended.
