Cross Park House Care Home is a beautiful home located in the historic town of Brixham, providing the very highest standards of care to independent or fragile elderly men, women or couples, mobile or disabled, blind or partially sighted in order that they maintain a high quality of life in a cheerful, carefree atmosphere.

Cross Park is an attractive Edwardian house set in its own beautiful grounds, close to local amenities and registered with Devon County Council.

Delighted to offer Day Care & Respite Care facilities in Cross Park House as well as standard facilities for permanent Residents.

If you or a family member or friend are looking to, 'lighten the load' to take life a bit easier and to enjoy the companionship that can be found in Cross Park House please do come and visit.

My mum is at end-of-life, the staff are extremely kind and helpful. They always keep me in touch with what is going on which I appreciate. The staff work as a good team. A big thank you to them all.

Staff are all very good.
They look after me and my requirements as needed. Very good to me when I need help to sort me out (double incontinence).
Staff couldn't be better.
Always go out of their way to tempt me with food.

Although my mum did not have long at Cross Park House Care Home, she was extremely well looked after.
The staff are very caring and tried extremely hard to get my mum to eat and drink.
It was not easy to visit during Covid but the systems in place are good and I was confident all precautions were
being taken.
Daily activities are provided to allow the occupants to mix and socialise.

My father recently entered Cross Park House Care Home as his care needs had escalated dramatically during the Covid crisis. Within a very few days, the caring and friendly staff at Cross Park brought about a great improvement in his physical and mental well-being. Everyone is very kind and friendly
and my father has passed through this big life change very smoothly. He is very settled and has nothing but praise for the home and his carers. The family are very thankful for everything that they do for Dad.

As always, the care my mum receives has been excellent throughout her stay and I am always kept informed of everything. My mum has a good rapport with all the staff and is very happy. I must say during this pandemic everyone has been kept safe and it was lovely when the "pod" was finished and visiting
could start again, knowing it was safe for all to do so and this worked wonders for my mum seeing her family again.

During the past three and a half years the staff have looked after my mum after Dad died. She was very confused and the staff treated her with love and care. They kept us informed immediately if Mum had any issues. We are so pleased with how the staff have dealt with the Covid issue.

My father spent the last 15 months of his life at Cross Park House Care Home with severe dementia. The care my father received here was always exemplary as well as cheerful and friendly. When my father first went there he was sometimes agitated, verging on aggressive with his dementia. The staff quickly
learned how to settle him and dispel his anxieties. We were soon able to stop worrying about him constantly because we could see how well he was being looked after. I rarely saw agency staff there, all the staff were known to me and excellent. I can't speak highly enough of his care ar Cross Park House.

Mum has settled into Cross Park beyond our expectations. She came to the home on 16th September 2019, after a long spell in hospital, very frail and reluctant. She is now quite content, eating well and has put on weight. The staff are always friendly and helpful, we couldn't ask for more.

Mum has been in Cross Park House Care Home for two months since leaving the hospital. She has improved in her eating and generall wellbeing during this period. Given the circumstances, therefore, she seems as happy and contented as is currently possible.

My mother has been a resident in Cross Park for nearly 4 years, having both vascular dementia and suffering a stroke, leaving her unable to walk or care for herself. From our first visit with the manager, we knew it was right for Mum. It is a home, not an institution. Everyone is friendly and helpful
and you can feel this is a caring place that feels like home. Mum has been content and happy all the time she has lived there. Two members of staff, in particular, have been wonderful and deserve to be commended for their work and care.

Cross Park House is a home from home. The staff treat the residents and their families with as much love and care as they would their own family. My father had a very peaceful and relaxed year in their care and we enjoyed our visits. The staff always had time for us. We are extremely fortunate to find
such a wonderful place for my father at a very difficult time in his life. I will always be extremely grateful to all at Cross Parks for allowing us to enjoy quality time with my father.
