We are as a family extremely pleased with all the care and attention he is given, considering how difficult my father can be. All the staff are so warm and welcoming to all of us, letting us know of his daily and weekly state of mind and phyical well being. We would all like to say a very big thank you to all the staff for the care and attention my father and the family are given. Such warm consideration and will and have recommended Greycliffe Manor to others. Thank you again.

I can't tell you what a difference being here has made to my mum. She wasn't eating, sleeping and had 2 falls. She is safe, much happier, eating great and really more positive. The staff are all fabulous, keep you well informed all the way. 5 Stars, thank you.

Since I have been here I have found all my needs have been met. The food is good and varied. We enjoy crafts, outings, exercise group and entertainments, any worries or concerns that I have. I have a really good team of carers/management that I can turn to which I often do. In the evening many residents in the lounge and watch TV.

My mum has been a resident at Greycliffe Manor for over two years and she felt at home there straight away. The access from the lounge straight into the long garden gave her the sense of freedom that she craved. The staff are superb at encouraging and supporting her, and show genuine love and care for her and all of the residents that I see and talk to. My family and I are so grateful to the staff for the care given to my mum.

Mum has been going to Greycliffe for respite since New Year of 2025. She tends to go in for a week at a time and while at first, she was reluctant, now she goes straight into the lounge to see what's going on and leaves me to unpack her belongings etc. She is always telling me how lovely the staff are to her, and how much she loves the food. I witness for myself that everyone is very engaged with the residents and very quick to help if they need anything....from a cup of tea, or trip to the toilet, or any other questions. The manager and and the entire team are always very welcoming and I feel very relaxed about leaving mum in their care as I take a break.

The care and support which the team at Greycliffe provided to my aunt, and to all our family, during a difficult time was exceptional. We were able to visit at any time and were always met with a friendly face and a kind word. We were kept up to date with all that we needed to know, and given all the time to talk through how my aunt's needs were being met, and how she was doing. As things progressed, everyone was so generous of their time and found ways of letting us know little things which helped us prepare for the end.
The building itself is very light and airy and the views into the landscaped gardens were lovely. I always found it to be clean and bright; the atmosphere was welcoming and homely. The team engage the residents with physical activities and mental challenges, as well as having visits from a therapy dog, cooking, and having 'country days'- e.g. Italy with a special menu and suitable bunting etc.

Highly recommended for wonderful care, kindness and personal approach.

Mum (aged 96) became a resident at Greycliffe Manor at a very stressful time as we had to find a suitable care home in just six weeks when her previous care home closed in March 2024.
From the moment we walked through the door, we felt it was a place where mum would feel at home. We were impressed with the decor, the homely atmosphere and the obvious desire from everyone involved to give mum the best possible care and attention. Since that time, we have continued to be kept informed of how mum is doing; receiving regular emails and telephone calls if there have been any issues regarding her health or well-being, being welcomed whenever we visit and, most importantly, knowing how much mum appreciates all the love and care she receives from all the staff. She cannot praise the staff enough for all that they do for her.

I am so grateful for the excellent care, tasty meals, medical support and various activities that Greycliffe offers and would not hesitate in recommending it.

We moved my mother to Greycliffe Manor about 9 months ago following the unexpected closure of her previous care home.
We were delighted with the welcome received and mum fairly quickly settled into her new surroundings.
The home is clean and well kept with caring and considerate staff who ensure mum is happy and comfortable and they treat her with respect and dignity.
The food and meals are good and mum enjoys the variety and quality of meals offered.
We are kept informed and updated on any issues involving mum's health and well-being.
My mother is very happy there and always speaks very highly of the staff and care provided.

We obviously want mum to be happy and well cared for in her home and Greycliffe Manor certainly provides that.

The management and staff offer a very caring and supportive environment to the residents. We are always made to feel welcome whenever we visit our mum and they give their time and a listening ear to the residents which is so very reassuring, this in turn encourages a very happy and positive environment. The daily activities are wonderful and the residents can decide if they want to join in. We enjoy seeing the posts on social media of the residents at these events. Thank you for finding the time to do this.
The garden is wonderful and when we visited during the warm summer days it was lovely to sit outside - even then the staff were making sure that there was shade, hats and sunscreen available for the residents.
The meals are varied and always enjoyed by my mum.

We greatly appreciate all the love, care and support given. Thank you.

My mum went to Greycliffe in June 2024 and was not in a very good place either physically or mentally. Mum was at Greycliffe for just a month, as she had a life-limiting condition, but throughout her short stay, she was totally happy there. The care that she received was everything I could have hoped for. The staff were so friendly and dedicated and the environment was extremely welcoming and comfortable. It may not have fancy spa facilities or a restaurant-quality dining experience, but the emphasis is on nurturing a skilled, homely and caring relationship with the residents and their relatives. I was kept well informed as to the progression of Mum's condition and had great emotional support from all the staff and management. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greycliffe Manor.

At the age of 103, my mum realised that we could no longer care for her and asked to go into a care home. We could not have made a better choice as she was welcomed with affection from day one. We made several unannounced visits a week and invariably found her treated with care, respect and compassion. Any minor complaints were immediately and professionally dealt with. When her health deteriorated, medical assistance was swiftly obtained and the carers could not have been more understanding, helpful and compassionate. Although Mum was only at Greycliffe Manor for a short while, it was a great relief to us that her last few months were happy. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, good humour, and professionalism.

I could not have thought of a better way for Mum to spend the last few months of her life. All the staff were kind and caring and had Mum's best interests and health at heart. The home was kept clean and tidy and smelt nice. She had home-cooked food and snacks. She was never left hungry or thirsty. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of staff for going over and above to look after Mum.
