Overall Experience

My next-door-neighbour and very good friend was lucky enough to spend his last few weeks at Pippins care home. I say ‘lucky’ because although he had cancer he could not have chosen a better place to be cared for. ALL the staff at the care home were friendly and caring, treating my neighbour as if he was a relation. His care was second to none and when I visited him almost every day they welcomed me with a cup of tea and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. His worries about food and keeping clean in his own home evaporated away. I got to know most of the staff very well too and realised what amazing people they all are.

His room/washroom was clean and bright, and the smell of freshly prepared food was always welcoming. My friend stole the hearts of many of the staff and during his last few days they came in to see him and bid him farewell with a hug and a kiss.

I cannot speak highly enough of this care home, their guests care is their main priority.
