Nice place to reside. Staff make you very welcome and hospitable.
They make a good coffee which I like.

I love playing scrabble with the staff when they are free. I feel safe here.

On admission, my husband has a lot of challenging behaviour, the staff were able to have a good rapport with him and managed his restlessness with previous two homes couldn't manage. The staffs are amazing! I would recommend this home to anybody.

The care my nan is receiving is, in my opinion, excellent. The carers are kind, understanding, and interested in her. They are always warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable when answering questions related to my nan and the care she is receiving. They have always acted promptly if they believe she needs alternative medical care and they are excellent at keeping us informed regarding any treatment they administer. They arrange activities for the residents and their families, taking care to be inclusive. Nothing ever feels like it's too much trouble.

It's been a couple of years since I've seen my mum due to living in Australia, but I was thrilled to discover the significant improvement in her health - she looks incredibly well and happy. I am so impressed with the standards at Milton Grange rest home located in Bournemouth, the staff are absolutely brilliant

My mum was welcomed into the care home and immediately offered food and drink. The next day she had been given a 'walker' to give her confidence as she was unsteady on her feet. She was encouraged to eat as she had been reluctant at home and lost quite a lot of weight. Mum is very deaf so didn't join in but staff very kindly sat with her for a chat. She is now eating again and gained some weight. The staff have so much patience and are wonderful, caring people.

My 92 year old mum has special needs pertaining to her dementia and after visiting many care homes (February 2025) I decided on Milton Grange and I, and my sister, are so very pleased we did. All the staff

show a wonderful kindness and compassion towards my mum. They have worked hard to understand her needs and make her residency as safe and as comfortable as possible involving the family all the way and with whom they have built an excellent first name rapport. The staff too always display a welcoming warmth, as does the home itself, something which has been positively commented upon by all family and friends visiting. Highly recommended without reservation.

My ex-husband came to Milton Grange Care Home because he had Several health issues as well as Alzheimers which made his behaviour challenging at times.
The care he received was competent, kind and caring. I am in awe of the way the staff cared for him. The family are so grateful.

Every single member of staff was kind and competent. Thank you all.

My mum has been a resident at Milton Grange since March 2024 and this is now her "forever home".
I couldn't be happier with the kindness, care and support that Mum receives from the wonderful staff, many of whom have a long tenure. They provide individual attention to everyone.
Mum really enjoys the daily activities, engaging with people, joking with staff and watching the TV. She also loves the food! Her room is bright and spacious, with an ensuite, and the home benefits from a lovely conservatory and large garden.
Mum's dementia is quite complex, and the question I get a consistent answer to is, "Do you love it here?". It's always a firm "yes". In any case, her contentment and health are obvious to see. Which is a relief as I live abroad. And with that, the staff help me with regular video calls to Mum.
The owner is amazing - very experienced, proactive and flexible.

Milton Grange is a special place and in my view, anyone would be lucky to call it their home.

Both my parents have passed happy days here. Dad peacefully passed away 26/12/2014. Mum kept in touch, finally settled here herself in March 2021 (throughout all the uncertainties of the pandemic and subsequent necessary lockdowns) and is now fast approaching her 4th year of admission. We have just celebrated Mum's 88th birthday today. We became wed this year in July and due to the care and attention close of one particular member of staff whom our mum has grown immensely close to during her time here, we were able to have Mum attend and enjoy both ceremony and reception tea on our most special of days. Thanks you Milton Grange support facilitating Mum's attendance, our immeasurable thanks are due. Such was its importance to ourselves that Mum shared in our very unique day.

Milton Grange is a wonderful home set in Chrminster, Bournemouth. From the very first meeting with the owner, we knew this was the right place for my father. The owner and her staff are very hands-on and make sure that every resident feels safe and at home. All the residents were happy and cared for with the utmost respect and dignity. The care and support given to my father was above and beyond. Even up until his last day! I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for Dad! Highly recommended.

Milton Grange Rest Home is a fantastic care home. All the staff are caring, attentive, thoughtful, kind and look after my mum extremely well. They always update me on how she is doing and what activities she has done. She particularly enjoys music and they make sure she listens to her CDs in her room and also to music in the main lounge with the other residents. All her medical needs are monitored and met extremely well. I feel happy and confident that she is having the best care possible. Thank you to all the staff at Milton Grange - you are great.
