As leaders within the service, they work together to ensure the highest standards of support and wellbeing for our residents. Their familiar, friendly presence also provides continuity and reassurance for families and loved ones, strengthening the sense of trust and community within our home.

Daisy is a dedicated and experienced member of the team at Charlton Kings Care Home, having been part of the home since the age of 14. With 16 years of service, she has built her career within the home, developing a deep understanding of both its day-to-day operations and the needs of its residents.

Over the years, Daisy has worked across all departments, gaining a well-rounded knowledge of how the home functions and what it takes to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. This broad experience underpins her current role, where she leads on social media, resident onboarding, marketing and business development, as well as building strong community connections.

Her long-standing commitment to Charlton Kings Care Home reflects a genuine passion for care and a dedication to creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment. She takes pride in building meaningful relationships with residents and contributing to a positive, homely atmosphere for everyone.

Sue is the Home Trainer, Assistant Manager and Dementia Lead at Charlton Kings Care Home, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role. She began her career at the home as a Health Care Assistant and has progressed through the ranks, demonstrating dedication, skill and a strong commitment to high-quality care.

In her current role, Sue is responsible for delivering all in-house training, ensuring that staff are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to provide safe, effective and compassionate care. She also coordinates and arranges external training opportunities, supporting continuous professional development across the team.

As Dementia Lead, Sue plays a key role in promoting best practice and enhancing the quality of life for residents living with dementia. Her passion for learning and development, combined with her hands-on experience, makes her an invaluable support to both residents and colleagues. She is committed to maintaining high standards and fostering a positive, knowledgeable and caring environment throughout the home.

Caron is a valued member of the team at Charlton Kings Care Home, supporting the home through her role in accounts, finance and staff onboarding. She began her career at the home as a Health Care Assistant and has since progressed into her current position, bringing with her a strong understanding of both care and operations.

Caron is responsible for managing all aspects of the home’s accounts and finances, including resident fees and related administration, ensuring everything is handled accurately and efficiently. She also plays a key role in staff onboarding, helping to welcome and support new team members as they join the home.

Her journey within Charlton Kings Care Home reflects her dedication, adaptability and commitment to the organisation. With her combined experience in care and administration, Caron provides essential support to both the team and the smooth running of the home.

The Housekeeping Team at Charlton Kings Care Home play a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. With a combined experience of over 37 years at the home, the team bring consistency, dedication and pride to their work every day.

Cerise, Head Housekeeper, has been part of the home since 2017 and leads the team in maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout. Gill, who has worked at the home for over 20 years, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, setting a strong example within the team. Rodney, with over 5 years of service, and Julie, with over 3 years, both contribute greatly to ensuring the home remains fresh, well-presented and homely.

Together, the housekeeping team take great pride in their work, with a strong focus on attention to detail and maintaining a high-quality environment. Their dedication plays an important role in supporting residents’ wellbeing and creating a positive, comfortable atmosphere across Charlton Kings Care Home.

John has been a valued member of the team at Charlton Kings Care Home since 2012. With a background as an Army medic, he brings a wealth of experience, compassion and resilience to his role.

He began his journey at the home as a Health Care Assistant, progressing to Senior Carer and now Head of Activities. His career development reflects his dedication to both residents and the wider team, as well as his passion for enhancing quality of life within the home.

As Head of Activities, John is responsible for planning and organising a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities for residents. He works hard to ensure there is something for everyone, promoting wellbeing, social interaction and enjoyment each day. His enthusiasm and commitment help create a lively, inclusive and supportive environment for all.
