Sometimes my aunt spends a little time at Charlton Kings Care Home when family are away. The staff always take time to make sure she is well and there always seems to be a lot going on. I find her happy and relaxed whenever she is there so keep up the good work, I think you all do a marvellous job. If I ever need care I hope to be looked after just as well.

I could not ask for a better place for mum to spend her last years. She is treated with respect and patience by all the staff who are all genuinely caring.

The atmosphere is always welcoming. Staff and management will always take time to answer questions. The food is excellent and tailored to particular diets. The activities are stimulating and everything is always spotlessly clean.

Mum is happy there and we are happy knowing she is safe and well in a supportive environment.

A dear friend has recently spent a few weeks at the home and despite early reservations, she really did feel at home. The staff were most attentive and it was clear that people genuinely cared. There was plenty to entertain her and she was very comfortable for the duration of her stay. I had the opportunity to visit and was impressed by the way everyone interacted. I understand there is some refurbishment to be done and it is clear from the areas already decorated that it will be a smart place! Good luck and I hope to visit you all again at some point.

From day one of mum arriving at the care home she was welcomed and settled in very quickly. The staff have been very caring and friendly and have done their very best to make her feel at home. She has had the best possible care the family could have wished for. As mum was only at the home for respite care whilst recovering from a broken shoulder she now feels it's time to go back to her own home and see how she manages. Thank you all for the excellent care.

BRILLIANT. I cannot fault the staff and facilities at the home. Towards the end of mum's life, the seniors care and attention was exceptional. It is clear that ALL staff see this as a vocation and not just a job, they really care. Whatever specialist care or equipment mum needed it was provided quickly. Thank you to everyone.

Very welcoming, happy place. The staff liked each other as well as their jobs it seemed. I was very tired (rheumatoid arthritis) and in the process of moving home as well so I did appreciate good food and the relaxing atmosphere provided by them. I found some chatty residents but spent a lot of time sleeping my in room and gathering my strength, much needed.

Just like to say, brought mum here for week's respite. The staff made mum feel at home straight away. When I went to take her home she wanted to stay longer and now she is a permanent resident. The staff and management are fantastic and make you feel very welcome on every visit. Mum loves the social life and the activities they provide especially the singalongs.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Charlton Kings Nursing Home for a few months now, and I have found all the staff to be very friendly and kind. My mother in-law seems to have settled in very well and enjoys the activities they hold, and loves to join in the sing-alongs they have. Her room is comfortable and fits all her needs, the dining area and lounge is a good place for her to mix with other residents and she seems to enjoy her food! It's nice to see her a lot happier and I can only put that down to the care she receives from the home! I would recommend Charlton Kings to other is they needed similar care.
