Your fees cover several areas while in their care.
These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and
snacks, laundry (excluding dry cleaning),
housekeeping, maintenance and activities run by the
home.
Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
services at the time you request them.
They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
be paid for by yourself.

Dean has worked with The Orders of St John Care Trust for almost 14 years, during which time he has had the pleasure of managing several of our services across the organisation. He brings with me over 10 years of management experience and a deep passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care, as well as a Level 7 qualification in senior leadership.
In addition to his role at Marden Court, Dean also manages Athelstan House in Malmesbury, and serves as a Peripatetic Operations Manager.
His ethos and vision is to ensure that residents living at Marden Court experience a positive environment, with a team who are happy to develop opportunities and good relationships with the local community.
Jackie Pringle is the Administration Assistant at Marden Court. Although she had never worked in a Residential Care Home before joining the Trust, she managed a Domiciliary Care, a Handyman, Gardening Services and a Befriender project for older people in their own homes for 10 years. She has a BTEC in Business and Finance and has a background in the banking industry. She was jointly nominated in the Employee Awards in 2018. Jackie enjoys the interaction with Residents, Visitors and colleagues and likes to help make a difference to people and has a good sense of humour. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys relaxing with her family and her grandchildren.
Kirsty has 20 years’ experience in Care before leaving work to have her 2 children, but wanted to return to this field of work. She started as a Housekeeper at Marden Court in 2014 and became Head Housekeeper in 2015. She has achieved her NVQ Level 2 in Housekeeping, Level 3 in Leadership and Management and is currently completing her Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services which will be completed in November 2020. She is a Manual Handling trainer and an Assistant Fire Marshall. Kirsty won Hospitality of the Year Award in 2019 at the OSJCT staff awards. She really enjoys her job and seeing the relationships between herself and the Housekeeping team build with the Residents. Kirsty enjoys relaxing with her partner and her children.
Peter is the Handyman at the Orders of St John Care Trust, Marden Court in Wiltshire and has spent his working career involved in design, construction and management.
He is a time-served mechanical engineer, spent a number of years designing and installing commercial catering projects, has been a project manager and has run his own computer repair business. The skills developed enable Peter to carry out an extensive range of construction and repairs around the care home and manage external contractors effectively.
Peter enjoys all aspects of the Handyman role and gets great satisfaction helping people and providing the residents with innovative facilities to improve their daily lives.
In his spare time Peter enjoys wood and metalwork and more recently, glass fusing. More relaxing pursuits include reading crime/thriller novels and visiting historic buildings.
