I can only give praise and thanks to the team at Marden Court. From the manager to all of her care team, the housekeepers and the catering staff. All of them work so very hard but remain cheerful, and most importantly, caring and compassionate. They treat my mum with dignity and kindness when her Alzheimer's makes her life so very difficult. I feel very lucky that my mum is being cared for in such a lovely, clean place, and by such dedicated and kind staff.

Thank you, everyone.

Overall Experience

It’s fantastic, I’ve got no problems, it's great for my husband, I’m an essential carer, the care is excellent, my husband is happy, housekeeping work very hard. The carers are always on hand for support, encouragement for my husband and me. I’ve been very lucky because being an essential carer has allowed me to visit when I choose to since Covid-19, and lockdowns. The manager has been brilliant, everyone has been brilliant, my queries are answered as best as they can be or if the query isn’t known they will find out. The admin assistant is very helpful, I like that when I come into the home it’s not ultra modern, it’s not like a hotel, it’s lived in and the Easter decorations around, it’s nice and warm.

Ever since my mother-in-law has been at Marden Court her all-around care has been excellent. This not only includes the actual carers but also the domestic, laundry, kitchen and admin staff as well. Whoever my mother-in-law comes into contact with are all very kind and patient. The hands-on carers themselves are also very professional and always leave her happy and comfortable.

I can only praise the staff and management of Marden Court for the way they have managed this horrible COVID situation. They have all stayed approachable, understanding and caring and have done their utmost to keep residents safe, happy and in contact with their loved ones via Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and phone. Although Mother misses seeing me in the flesh, they are able to treasure her that she would see me again and stopped her from getting too distressed. They have kept her happy, safe and free from COVID.

The care home has managed the covid19 outbreak extremely well. We have managed to keep in contact with my mother through Skype and more recently with pre-arrange visits, which are well managed. The care given to my mother at this difficult time has been good. Well done to all the staff.

This home is outstanding in every way. My mother loves it here. I am amazed at how happy she is and no wonder seeing that all her needs are met very well by kind, understanding, accommodating carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum feels secure and cared about. She always tells me that she loves them all. That makes me happy to see her so content. It truly is her home and I, as her visiting relative, always feel welcome and respected by all the friendly staff.

My mum went into Marden Court in November 2018, she absolutely loves it. The care she receives is outstanding, she has a lovely room which is always clean and tidy. She enjoys the food and there is always plenty of activities going on. So glad she is being so well looked after it means we don't have to worry about her being on her own and lonely anymore.
