Carol joined the Trust in 2009 and has worked in the care sector for 17 years. Carol started working as a carer at the age of 17 after completing her work experience at the age of 14 in a care home. She enjoyed spending time with the elderly so much and really felt that she could help by making a difference in people’s lives.
Carol has a Level 3 in Effective Management, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care; Adults Residential Management and in her spare time she likes reading, going to the gym and walking.
An interesting fact about Carol is that in 2017 she took part in a sensory challenge where she was blindfolded for 7 hours! Carol arranged this with support from the Wiltshire Blind Society and had the opportunity to talk on Wiltshire Sound radio. As part of this, she raised money for the resident's amenities fund and for Wiltshire Sound.
