All the staff here are so friendly and caring. They go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. The staff all 'love' every single resident. Genuinely I would recommend this home and I have done this to my friends who are in similar situations.

My partner has only been here a short while but visiting most days. I take notice of whats going on. His previous care home was a hell hole.
I cannot fault the Knowles at all. The carers are on the ball 100%, especially the senior staff. I'm so pleased we chose this home for love, care and safety.

As the home is on two floors residents, who have a bedroom on the first floor cannot go to their room during the daytime as there are no staff permanently up there. There is often an unpleasant smell of urine in the lounges. Food is mainly reheated and not prepared from fresh produce and this contributes
to it not looking very appetising. The permanent staff are efficient, caring and capable of looking after the residents well. However, there seems to be a high staff turnover and are depending on agency staff. Overall, The Knowles does a good job of caring for residents.

Thank you for praising the high quality of our care. We always listen and act on concerns to improve. As with most care homes we have to use agency staff to cover sickness. Our meals are supplied by award-winning caterers Appetito. We are proud of the cleanliness of our home but with mainly dementia residents accidents are inevitable.

First attracted to this care home when seeing the number of carers and their interactions with the residents. The carers are very attentive to the needs of the residents and always have time to assist the residents in whatever their needs, always willing to talk to visitors and relatives and discuss
