Overall Experience

My mother is looked after extremely well and it is a huge relief to my family that she is being cared for so well. She has Alzheimer's disease and I cared for her at home for three years until her disease progressed to the stage where it was not possible to care for her at home properly any longer. The Croft is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated and kept immaculate, with extra touches such as proper table napkins and flowers on the dining room tables which reinforce the home away from home atmosphere. It reduces my sadness to visit my mother in such lovely surroundings. The staff are exceptional. They are always polite and helpful, professional and caring. The Manager deserves a special mention. She is kind, efficient and professional and always finds time to chat and advise if asked.

Overall Experience

My mother has lived at The Croft for six years, she is now nearly 97, initially she was mentally alert and joined in activities, unfortunately she now has dementia and is unwilling to participate in much. Throughout and to date her care has been exemplary she is treated with dignity and kindness and I happy living there. The home is clean and welcoming, fresh flowers and pleasing décor, several communal rooms, lounge, library and inglenook, with a lovely garden with seats a summer house and gazebo visitors are welcome at any time.

Overall Experience

The home, its very good, excellent. Food is good, hot and tasty. I'm allowed to have my own personal belongings which makes it homely for me. The gardens are colourful and pleasant but the pool has been neglected. To stop me getting bored I read, listen to music. Activities are very good inside the home and I really enjoy going out visiting places every week with the staff. The care staff are good to me, caring and compassionate. When I press my call button they come fairly quickly.
