an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Very well designed and maintained premises. Staff very pleasant, kind and empathetic. Plenty of activities for residents, who are encouraged to participate, e.g. 'beach day' and 'craft exhibition', which were very successful due to very good planning plus good weather!

My mom has been a resident for five years and her overall experience has been a very happy one. The care team really do become dear friends, who are always happy to give a friendly smile and a hug. They sometimes could do with having extra staff on during the day, as it has seemed to be understaffed
over the last few months. Maybe not as efficient as previously.

When you visit, you may not always see every team member, especially during the day when there’s lots going on, as some may be delivering personal care in a resident’s room, helping assist with or get residents to or from an activity, or elsewhere with residents in the building, such as supporting them to enjoy the lovely garden or get a cup of tea in our bistro. I spent the day visiting my Mum who is having respite care at Foxland Grange. We had a lovely lunch together in the separate dining room and were well looked after. Mum has been made to feel very welcome and is being very well looked after. Thank you!

Foxland Grange is everything you pray for in a residential home. The staff genuinely do care and more importantly so do management. They ensure the focus is on treating each resident as an individual and meeting those needs. There is always something for them to do. Activities and trips vary to make
sure there is something for everyone. My grandfather is treated with so much respect and dignity even when his illness sometimes prevents him from treating others the same way. Every member of staff is amazing and there are so many staff members that everyone is well looked after. The food is fantastic and they are offered so much choice, and can request things that aren't on the menu if they fancy something else. As a family member I feel welcome and heard by whoever I approach and actions happen quickly. It is a safe space for all. I hope I am fortunate to find myself somewhere like this if I ever need it.

My husband has frontotemporal dementia and has been a resident at Foxlands for over three and a half years. Over that time his care needs have been constantly changing. These have been met by a team of excellent carers. This has been a very difficult time for me also and all the staff have helped me
greatly to cope with what can best be described as a living bereavement. I would recommend Reminiscence to any family. A big thank you Foxlands.

Since moving in nearly a year ago, both Mum and I have been very happy and satisfied with the care she has received. All the staff, without exception, have been friendly, helpful and caring. She receives regular visits to her room to make sure she is ok and they all know her by name. She regularly partakes
in the activities which she enjoys and the food is good quality with a varied and nutritious menu.
The rooms as well as common areas and gardens are well-maintained and kept clean.

We happened to visit Mum on the morning of a visit by Kim who gives a concert of wartime and contemporary songs backed by his own pre-recorded backing tracks. Mum was totally enthralled by the music, and Kim’s delivery, along with just the right amount of humour, were a delight to experience. Mum and
I even had a dance together - priceless. Mum has recently moved to the calmer Reminiscence wing of Foxland Grange and has settled in really well with the assistance of all of the supportive Care staff.

I have lived at Foxland Grange for one and a half years. The carers and medical staff are excellent. The personnel and medical care I have received are excellent. This is my home now - I have a lovely room with a lovely view from the windows. The activities provided are great, something for everybody.
The food, on the whole, is good, some days better than others, but a good choice. This is a nice place to call home.

My Dad has been a resident for nearly 4 years after the passing of my mother, initially with the challenges of my Dad wanting his old life back. First impressions were of a 5-star hotel and fondly remember how the staff went out of their way to ease Dad's transition and make him welcome and comfortable.
Now it is like an extended family. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, the care, attention and in particular the respect they always give Dad never fails to impress me, which we witness every visit with other residents. Seeing Dad regularly sharing a laugh and joke with the staff is fantastic. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming when we visit, you genuinely feel that nothing is too much trouble. The activities team are brilliant, with always lots happening, trips, games and my Dad's personal favourite, singing. My son recently volunteered to help with the activities to aid his application for medicine at University but so enjoyed it that he has extended his placement.

My mother has been at Foxland Grange Care Home for a year, I am very pleased with the care and nursing she has received during her stay. All the staff are excellent, kind, caring and professional. I live overseas and it is a great comfort to me to know she is so well looked after. The staff have also

We had a lovely lunch in the private dining room, the food was delicious and we were really looked after. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Choosing the right Care Home for your relative is a huge responsibility. Foxland Grange Care Home has lived up to our expectations in every way.
Mum is happy, settled and very well cared for. Foxland Grange is well led and all the staff are kind, caring and professional. It is truly a team enterprise,
nothing is too much trouble and who ever you speak to takes responsibility to answer your question.
Add into this, good quality nursing care when needed and integration with local health care services. Foxland Grange offers a service which is certainly not found everywhere.
The home services and admin staff also play a significant role in welcoming and supporting relatives. We recently enjoyed restaurant quality food and service at family lunch in the Foxland private dining room.
The home environment is comfortable and inviting and the range of activities offered impressive.

We joined my mother-in-law for Boxing Day lunch, and what a lovely time we had! The food was delicious, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, very disappointed with the care given to my late mother. Having been assessed prior to moving into the home, there didn't seem to be appropriate thought in terms of her needs (very poor mobility and pain management).
Don't think it is the best type of facility if someone needs more than
very basic care.
Very nice setting, rooms of a good standard, and the food certainly looked nice but unfortunately, my mother was not in a position to enjoy this.

Although we always conduct detailed assessments prior to any resident joining us, on rare occasions, there may be hidden underlying conditions that neither the individual or their family are aware of, that are not obvious or visible. Unfortunately in your mother’s case, her decline had started before she joined us and sadly we were unable to improve her condition, despite involving external agencies to help identify the reasons behind her health problems and build a management plan for her care as soon as we could. I’m very proud of the team at Foxland Grange who always work hard to support residents and their families. I understand this is a very upsetting time for you, and please know that if you have any questions or queries about your mother’s care and time with us, our door is always open

I qualified as a nurse in 2011 and have worked in various roles during my nursing career.


This has enabled me to gain the experience and knowledge that I have today and to be in the privileged position of managing Foxland Grange.


My roles have included working in hospitals, in a quality team, developing practice for nurses and in complex care in a nursing home. Delivering the best quality care is at the heart of what I do.


I do my utmost to ensure that everyone feels valued, listened to and supported with their needs and wishes. I love to get to know each person in my care and have a friendly chat with their family and friends, so please come in and say hello!
