other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

We look forward to seeing aunty every week. Staff are always pleasant and speak to us. Residents are active and walking around and will speak to us. Aunty enjoys all her meals and will tell us what she has been eating. She is always clean and well dressed. Carers are always popping in to make sure she
is ok and she seems reasonably happy.

We are generally very pleased with the level of care mum received from Sunrise of Tettenhall. The only negatives are the food which needs to improve and also the trays of half-eaten meals and dirty cups and glasses which are left in the halls and walkways for hours and hours.

My Mum and I had considered several care homes, read many brochures and sought word of mouth recommendations. When she decided the time had come, we asked Sunrise to admit her.
The managers made the admission and transition as simple as possible and from then on the staff have been superb. Mum has
never regretted her decision to move to Sunrise. She is well looked after and is now considerably physically stronger and more mentally buoyant than she had been for a long time. All the effort and energy she had been expending in looking after herself and running her home can now be directed into enjoying life.
Nothing in life is completely perfect - but for the care of the elderly Sunrise is the nearest thing to perfection I can imagine. All the worries I have had in the years since Mum turned 90 and became frailer have now completely gone.
Managers, front of house, carers, caterers, nurses, cleaners, launderers all have one focus: Providing the best possible care.
I hope I will live here eventually.

My father has been in Reminiscence for 8 years.
The staff always communicate with us and show genuine fondness to my father. I doubt that my father, now aged 98 years, would still be alive today if it wasn't for the care and attention he has received in Reminiscence.

Environment is nice and homely. Staff are exceptionally nice and caring, care couldn't be better!
The cost is good value in the main residence area, we were surprised though at how much the cost went up with the move to 'reminiscence'. On the one hand I appreciate more staff to resident ratio, on the
other hand, reminiscence residents are not benefitting from all the activities in the mainstream. I think it could be £1k a month less, which would be more in line with competitors.

I feel Sunrise supports my Dad very well. All his needs are met and the staff genuinely care for his well being. They have been very sensitive to the loss of his wife in the last couple of months. Although his dementia has progressed quite rapidly in the last six months, it gives us as a family, comfort

Dad is looked after by some truly, lovely, caring people. He is quite certainly in the best place to care for him. As a family, we worried so much about taking him home but it has proved absolutely the right thing to do.

The majority of carers work hard to develop a rapport with residents.
As always happens in a home this size some carers are much more dedicated than others, but the good ones are excellent.
Communication between shifts can be hit and miss but generally overall is good.
Management work hard to ensure
staff are trained well and know their residents well.
Activities excellent, but can be geared to the more mobile.

I qualified as a nurse in 2011 and have worked in various roles during my nursing career.


This has enabled me to gain the experience and knowledge that I have today and to be in the privileged position of managing Foxland Grange.


My roles have included working in hospitals, in a quality team, developing practice for nurses and in complex care in a nursing home. Delivering the best quality care is at the heart of what I do.


I do my utmost to ensure that everyone feels valued, listened to and supported with their needs and wishes. I love to get to know each person in my care and have a friendly chat with their family and friends, so please come in and say hello!
