The staff always communicate with us and show genuine fondness to my father. I doubt that my father, now aged 98 years, would still be alive today if it wasn't for the care and attention he has received in Reminiscence.

Excellent, and all done with a sense of humour, which my mother very much appreciates.

My Mum has been at Sunrise since March 2012 and from the get-go, she and our family have been made to feel extremely welcomed. No job is too big or too small for the team and things always get done. I have no hesitation in recommending Sunrise to those in a similar situation. Big thanks to Reminiscence Manager and the REM team!!

The cost is good value in the main residence area, we were surprised though at how much the cost went up with the move to 'reminiscence'. On the one hand I appreciate more staff to resident ratio, on the other hand, reminiscence residents are not benefitting from all the activities in the mainstream. I think it could be £1k a month less, which would be more in line with competitors.

Dad has been with Sunrise for over a year and he is very pleased with it. I also think the home has been excellent in its delivery of all the required services. The staff have also been warm, friendly and very helpful in every way. We could not have wished for better.

I feel Sunrise supports my Dad very well. All his needs are met and the staff genuinely care for his well being. They have been very sensitive to the loss of his wife in the last couple of months. Although his dementia has progressed quite rapidly in the last six months, it gives us as a family, comfort knowing that Dad is safe and well cared for.

Dad is looked after by some truly, lovely, caring people. He is quite certainly in the best place to care for him. As a family, we worried so much about taking him home but it has proved absolutely the right thing to do.

Everywhere is very clean, staff and carers are very efficient. In general, I feel that residents are extremely well looked after and cared for.

This is a care home I've chosen for my wife as I think it would be one she would choose for me. Beautiful home and genuinely caring staff. I can rest knowing my wife is being well looked after and cared for to the best abilities of the staff.

Mum was a resident at Sunrise of Tettenhall for 6 weeks of convalescence following hip replacement surgery. It was the perfect location for her at this time. Every member of staff we encountered was caring and extremely professional, from carers to dining room staff, reception staff to nursing staff-no one was less than friendly, professional and welcoming. Prior to admittance, the administrative staff were informative and helpful in finding the right options for us as a family.

Initially mum found it hard to settle, but staff listened carefully to her likes and dislikes and bent over backwards to meet her individual needs and preferences, which made a huge difference.

There is a varied programme of activities on offer which is inclusive and stimulating. The food is varied, plentiful, nourishing and well presented and individual tastes can be catered for.

To sum up, I can recommend Sunrise most wholeheartedly and offer heartfelt thanks for their care, compassion and skill.

My mum is always treated with kindness and dignity. The staff are wonderful. The activities are good and they try hard to encourage everyone to engage.
