an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Friendly staff, excellent meals. Feels at ease knowing my granddads being cared for in lovely surroundings by good staff. After having live in carers at home, which we were very disappointed with, we are now happy that he is being well looked after.

My mother has lived at Sunrise of Tettenhall for 3 months. During that time, everyone at Sunrise has tried to look after her as best they can. Mum particularly enjoys all of the activities and trips that Sunrise organises for its residents.

The staff in Renaissance are all good and very caring - people with oodles of patience for every patient. Requests sometimes take a little longer than I would have hoped, but always things are sorted.
I would like to see a bit more care taken of the bistro area. The floor is not always cleaned but
that is understandable with the number of people using the facility.
It is wonderful that there are always refreshments available to everyone. A feather in your cap!

The hospitality and entertainment over the Christmas and New Year period were excellent. As my mother could not be at home over this period I could not have wished for a better environment.
All festivities and meals were coordinated and families were invited to join if they so wished. All residents
received presents from Santa and the home was decorated beautifully.

Overall we are happy with the care that my mother receives, however, show more attention could be given to the detail of care. The laundry service isn't great. Most of the staff are very kind and the manager shows very good leadership skills.

We have noticed a marked improvement in our friend's health and well-being. Since she became a resident of Sunrise she speaks highly of all the staff, care, food and activities etc. and has a much better standard of life than her previous 3/4 years keep up the good work!!!

I enjoy volunteering at this care home as it has a very home-like feel and I feel that emotion with residents when speaking to them as well. I haven't had a day coming back and thinking I wish I hadn't gone.

General care seems very good and so is the atmosphere of this part of the care home. The people being cared for are treated well and with dignity and difficult situations are dealt with patience and lightheartedness. Management provides leadership and lead by example in this part of the home and always
seem professional. The care costs are definitely expensive and I am not really in a position to say if it is good value for money or not.

Sunrise of Tettenhall provides excellent care for its residents. The range of activities is outstanding, catering for a wide range of interests. Residents have the choice to join in or not, which was very important to us when looking for care for my mother-in-law. The Bistro provides an excellent facility
for residents to meet visitors and to enjoy a quiet chat. The range of visits (at least two per week) is a particular hit with my mother-in-law.
All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. They willingly provide any information that might be needed and make sure residents' needs are met. Their professionalism gave my husband and I confidence that we had chosen the right care home.

Sunrise of Tettenhall is person-centred, compassionate, responsive and holistic. The team not only take good care of their residents but also provide much-needed support and reassurance to the family members of residents. The surroundings are homely and comfortable and enable family to socialise and
spend valuable time together in a relaxed environment. Family and friends are always made to feel welcome. All areas of the building are immaculately clean and you routinely see cleaning taking place. The team are proactive with involving residents, their families and the local community in activities and events. Staff are professional, polite, friendly and approachable; both staff and volunteers often go the extra mile. Timely help from the team has always been accessible and available. I have only ever seen residents being treated with dignity and respect. My experience has been that changes to a person's care and support are made efficiently and responsibly.

On visiting my father at the care home I am always met with a warm welcome. Overall the staff are attentive to my father's needs and treat him with patient kindness. The communal areas are pleasant and kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

Mum moved into Sunrise of Tettenhall after a spell in hospital, having lived in her own home up until then. My sister and I liked the fact that the home is purpose built, modern, light, warm and airy. There are always staff around to either help residents or answer any queries we might have, they are
always friendly and approachable. Although as yet Mum can't take full advantage of them, there are always activities and outings taking place, which chatting to other residents, they all look forward to, and there is always a buzz of action to the place.

This has enabled me to gain the experience and knowledge that I have today and to be in the privileged position of managing Foxland Grange.


My roles have included working in hospitals, in a quality team, developing practice for nurses and in complex care in a nursing home. Delivering the best quality care is at the heart of what I do.
