Breme Residential Care Home provides excellent care and accommodation. Since my sister has been a resident, she has been looked after by all the staff. They have been loving and caring on a daily basis. I have nothing but admiration for all of them, as I know this cannot be an easy job.

The knowledge that she is so well cared for makes a big difference to all the family.

I have always found Breme Residential Care Home to be very helpful and caring, that goes for the carers and cleaning staff. The management are also very efficient.

The reason for four stars.

If there is no one on reception at the weekend it is almost impossible to phone my mom. So much so I have given up trying to ring at weekends. Maybe more of the staff could be trained on how to transfer calls?

My mother has been a resident since 2017 and she has enjoyed her stay at Breme Residential Care Home and continues to do so. The staff are amazing. Very supportive, caring and helpful. She enjoys the activities. The pantomime they were taken to in December 2022 was wonderful, my mom and the residents who went on the trip thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They also had lunch at a local pub in January 2023 and looking at the photos there were smiles all round. As a daughter, I couldn't be more grateful to all the staff for taking good care of my mom. The care comes from carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and managers and admin staff. The carers do go above and beyond for the residents and I think as resident's families we should all be very grateful to them because they are doing what, unfortunately for whatever reason, we can't. A big thank you to all the team at Breme Care Home.

Heartfelt thanks from me and all of my family.

Our father was cared for at Breme Residential Care Home for nearly a year. In that time he never had an unkind word for any of the staff. They were always respectful to him and cared for him with patience, kindness and humour, nothing being too much trouble. Even at the end he was treated with gentleness and consideration. In a very short time the management and staff had made him feel at home, for which we will always be grateful.

Mom has been a resident at Breme for just over four years now after a stroke.
The overall experience has been very positive with the staff being very approachable and friendly.

Mom has her circle of friends and seems very settled and contented as much as she can after her stroke.

My mum moved to Breme Residential Care Home six years ago. She soon settled in and everyone became like her extended family. She was well looked after and I was kept informed of any changes in her condition. When a problem arose I mentioned it to the staff and it soon got sorted. I visited frequently, when permitted due to covid, to find everyone was very welcoming, caring and helpful. During Mums stay there were some tough times, the staff were supportive with a smile not just to Mum but to myself and other family members. I have already highly recommended Breme Residential Care Home to friends and acquaintances and will continue to do so.

The night staff contacted me as my mother was unresponsive and they were worried. An ambulance was called, but never arrived till four and a half hours after. The night staff were caring, supportive and sat in turn in my mum's room. When I was telephoned, it was immediately after the ambulance was called. The care my mum received was exemplary.

My first visit was this morning, so these are my initial thoughts. The home is clean and well looked after. The reception ladies were welcoming and friendly and made every effort to help me see my relative. I cannot comment on value for money or management since I have been involved with neither. However, my relative has settled well in the very short time she has been there and that is very important to me.

My husband has Alzheimers and has been at Breme House for four years. I pay a considerable amount 'top up' fee each month. I begrudge every penny now. The management (up to now) has been extremely poor. Any concerns were ignored. It's evident that Breme House is understaffed at all times, whatever management say. The staff do their best and are very kind. Activities for them are virtually non-existent, just the T.V! Hygiene is questionable, especially in the kitchen/diner on the 1st floor. I would not recommend Breme House to anyone. This relates to the management prior to June 2022.

I've been coming to see my sister for over two years. In all that time I have found your staff very helpful if I have any concerns about my sister. Always on hand, polite, respectful and caring. My sister is very content and well looked after and treated like a human being. Thank you all.

My mother has been in Breme House since August 2021. She had previously been in a more expensive, brand new and smarter home in Bromsgrove, where my sister and I felt that she was being neglected. We have been very pleased with the Breme. The staff are caring and thoughtful and Mum is well looked after. I have no hesitation in recommending Breme.

My Mom and Mother-in-law have both been residents at this home for quite some time. I have always been impressed by the level of care, support and compassion they both receive. The staff are very friendly and kind and make a real effort. Mom always appears well cared for which is important. I have been there at mealtimes and have seen at first hand the food that is provided which Mom always enjoys.
There is also some form of activity going on e.g. at one time during the pandemic the staff created a virtual sea cruise for residents by showcasing a different destination each day with music, food and activities.
I have already recommended this home to friends and family and will continue to do so.

I consider it a lovely place to be, which I think says something as I am a retired nurse who used to inspect Care Homes for a living.

I am extremely pleased with the care that is given to Mum at Breme. This year has shown its challenges but the staff continue to work tirelessly each and every day. Mum is always happy and content when I see and speak to her, through a visit or Skype call. The communication is excellent, keeping you up to date with the health and well being of residents. The newsletter is a fabulous read and the photos show your relatives having fun and sharing their joy. All the staff demonstrate warmth and care for Mum and she truly appreciates it.

So pleased that Mom is a resident at Breme House. We all know she is not only safe but extremely well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble. Breme HResidential Care Home are constantly updating us with what is going on in these weird times. Newsletters, emails and phone calls are a constant reassurance that this is one of the best care homes in Bromsgrove that Mom could be in. All of the staff are on first name terms not only with Mom, but with the rest of the family. Activities abound, positiveness abounds - all due to hardworking staff from managers right through to cleaners. Although Covid has restricted many things - it is as though Mom has gained another 'family'.

Due to scrupulous hygiene and rigorous testing very few have tested positive. A major worry in these uncertain times. Vaccinations are about to take place. Hopefully, the end may be in sight and we will get to hug Mom again.

My mother has been at Breme for over 3 years now, and I couldn’t have asked for better care for her. She has been quite trying for the staff at times but at all times they have patiently looked after her. With the year we have had with Covid there are no words I can offer that would best describe how grateful I am for everything they have and continue to do for her.
