During the last three years my mother and my father, until his death in December 2015, have been treated with the utmost care and dignity by all the staff. I have been kept informed immediately by the management of any medical occurrences.
The home is beautiful and the staff couldn't be nicer.
The care in the home is very good. I am pleased with the way it is run and pleased with the care that is given so I can say thank you for everything.
Having worked in the NHS for many years and visited numerous residential care homes, some if which I would not feel at easy putting any person in. The staff at Field House are not just a credit to the home, themselves and the residents. Every staff member is kind, helpful beyond words, may it long continue. The undertaking of refurbishment is underway at the very moment, will be in my opinion up to a 4 star plus residence which has long been required.
Since arriving at Field House Rest Home in September 2013, with my husband all be it for respite initially, I have been treated with nothing by the greatest respect and consideration. I spent six weeks in hospital at the end of 2013. It was then decided if possible on my release from hospital in December 2013 for both myself and my husband to become permanent residents, for both of us having mobility issues i.e using walking frames. Over the next two years my husbands health deteriorated but he was also treated with respect and dignity. He sadly passed away on 23rd December 2015, at that time the staff and management rallied around to help me through this difficult time. I have no worries about my care at all.

- Requires Improvement - The service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.

Meet the Team (7)

My name is Anna, and I am the Manager here at Field House. I came into care just over 8 years ago, working in a Care Home for people living with Dementia. In my last place of work, I trained and gained the qualifications that enabled me to become a Care Practitioner. I am very proud of this achievement. I came to Field House in April 2020 as Deputy and then became Registered Manager. I always wanted to progress into management from the moment I started in care. I have a great passion for care and strive to ensure the team provide the highest quality care to our residents. Out of work, I like to spend time with my children and love holidays on the beach.

I started at Field House in October 2020 as a Care Assistant and was promoted in January 2021. I have 20 years experience in care, and I have my NVQ level 2, and 3 in Health and Social Care.
My role is to administer the residents’ medication safely, as per GP guidelines, and to deliver person-centred care. I love my job, and In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Stef, I am one of the Senior Carers here at Field House. I came to work at Field House in January 2017 and have loved working here ever since. I have over 20 years’ experience in the care sector working in a variety of settings. I have a passion for working in Dementia care. Some of my responsibilities involve the administration of medication and leading the care team in delivering exceptional person-centred care. I am one of the Infection Control Health and Safety Champions for the home. I love my job.

I have been at Field House for 3 ½ years. My previous role was Head Housekeeper. I really enjoyed this but wanted to develop further into care and have more impact on the resident lives.
My role now is overseeing that every resident has a good fluid and nutrition intake. I monitor this, and feed the information back to the team, and support the staff on the floor to achieve this. I also raise any concerns and work with the other Senior Carers to ensure our residents are fully supported.

Hi I am Dawn. I am excited to bring new activities and fun for the residents. I have worked as a Wellbeing Co-Ordinator before, and I really enjoy my work. I am enthusiastic about supporting residents living with dementia and finding stimulating activities for them to join in with. I will also be looking at bringing in outside entertainment such as singers etc. I am also hoping to engage with the community of Hagley and let them know we support our local villages and gain their support.

It is my pleasure to join Field House Care Home in March 2021 to give my service and skills which I have acquired through working in other Care Homes and Hotel Industry for more than 10 years in Housekeeping. I have very good experience of providing outstanding services.
I am glad that I have joined the team here at Field House, where people are so helpful, and respectful to each other, and do this to provide an excellent service to the residents.

My name is David and I am one of the Chef’s here at Field House. Having started my carer as a chef in a Restaurant in Kinver, I was then lucky enough to spend two years working in Switzerland. I then returned to England where I worked in Hotels and Restaurants, before having a year out to travel the world. I started at Field House in April 2020 having previously worked in other care settings. I have a great passion for food and seeing the residents enjoying what has been made for them. I completed all my training at Halesowen College. I am now a settled family man who really enjoys working in Care Homes.
