There is always something going on at Heathlands Residential Care Home, from animal therapy, visits by local nursery and school children, art and crafts, live music, to trips out into the community.

There is also a hair salon for weekly visits from a mobile hairdresser, who has been coming to the home for years.

Heathlands is very much part of the local community, hosting a monthly Carers Support Group on the first Saturday of each month from 11am to 1pm.

The home also welcomes regular visits from work experience students and other volunteers.

The home’s gardens are a lovely spot to relax with family and friends, who are welcome at any time, and have a summer house and wheelchair friendly pathways.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2025 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1343 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

I have stayed at Heathlands for respite now for a long time. I came just over a year ago on a regular basis and I have just started coming back after an operation, my recovery was very slow but now I am so pleased. All the staff are lovely always very happy to help you, they always do regular checks
to make sure you are happy or need any help.


I would recommend Heathlands very highly to anybody young or elderly. It's so spotless here. Beautiful gardens. The staff are always smiling and happy it's a care home I would love to live in or any of my relatives or friends. Absolutely fantatsic. I would love to thank the all the staff and management for all the care they give me.

My sister has been a resident at Heathlands Residential Care Home since 28th September and is still settling in. When I first enquired for accommodation for my sister, I was impressed by the feel of the home. The reception area is bright, welcoming and clean as were the corridors and rooms leading off.
They are being refurbished at present with little distraction to the residents. My sister is happy and appreciates all the help she receives from the carers who are cheerful and helpful at all times especially in the light my sister really enjoys her early morning cup of tea. There are many activities for the residents to suit all tastes and my sister enjoys.

Heathlands is a friendly, caring and professional environment. They understand the needs of residents and attend to them effectively, always maintaining the human touch. I am confident that my mother is well cared for and do not have any anxiety over the environment or quality of care. She is probably

Both my parents have been in Heathlands Residential Care Home for three years, until my father's death in March 2016. My mother continues to live there. The end of life care was excellent and the staff were all so helpful and empathetic to the family when dad died. My mother is very content and enjoys
all the activities as well as mixing freely with other residents when she wishes. My parents were fortunate to have inter-connecting rooms so they could always be together (very important after 70+ years of marriage). The only very minor thing is the number of times that laundered clothes get put in the wrong rooms even though the system is virtually foolproof.

The care home is a clean and safe place for my mother. The carers that attend her are empathetic and lovely but sometimes feel that more staff should be on duty, in mums unit their needs are more needy at 2/8 residents, it's not always enough. The activities for the whole care home is serviced by 1
person, 4 units with about 60 residents. Quite a few, mum being one, needs one to one activity on a regular basis. This is how it was sold to me! I sometimes feel that management let the carers down by not supporting them at all times. Sometimes there is too much sitting around and not enough interaction with the residents. Management are more concerned with running the place to a budget. Residents need more going on to get them interacting. Having said that the carers do look after mum.

We pride ourselves on spending quality time with our residents so always make sure that we have a higher staff ratio to enable us to achieve this. Our dedicated activities leader spends time delivering activities to our residents across the home and in addition, supports our care staff so that they can carry out activities in their units on a one-to-one and group basis. Caring for our residents and supporting my dedicated team are of paramount importance. I do have to spend time running our home in a practical sense, but I balance this with spending quality time with our residents and my team - and my door is always open to them and to loved ones if you would like to discuss anything further with me.

Mother has been a resident for two years. She has dementia and as such finds joining in activities and socialising difficult although the opportunities are clearly there. The home is welcoming and staff clearly about the residents. They act swiftly when medical/personal care is needed and keep me well
informed either at visits or by phone. The home is currently being refurbished which his good as some of it is a little tired looking, although I am sure this does not affect my mother. A few weeks ago a room became available on a landing with fewer residents and more staff and we were offered this. The move took place with minimal disruption and the quality of care has been sustained.

I have stayed in 'Heathlands Residential Care Home' for a fortnight while my family have had a camping holiday. I have enjoyed my stay here, meeting new friends and being looked after in every way. I shall look forward to a stay in the future when it becomes necessary.

Mum has begun to flourish again since moving to Heathlands. Her outlook and confidence are growing and this is very much down to the consistent care of the staff here. It is a friendly and open Home with many links to activities and groups in Pershore.
Mum didn't settle overnight; it took a little
time but there was a day when I started to notice that Mum saw it as where she lived, then she was mentioning friends and activities that she enjoyed. The staff have gently encouraged and supported Mum as she has been settling in. It has been a learning process for us all and communication both ways has really helped. I would like to thank all the other carers on Bredon ward. Mum has also grown stronger and more confident with her walking and balance and in talking to those around her.


We celebrated her 85th Birthday today and were given a lounge to use for playing skittles, which Mum loves. Carers brought everyone cups of tea.

From the moment we arrived, we have been very impressed with everything. Wonderful friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere about the place. Fabulous food and hospitality. It feels like a hotel and I would love to stay myself! Mum has settled in very quickly which has been so reassuring for all the family.

I arrived from hospital rather nervous, I need not have done. I met kindness and consideration from everyone. All staff and residents alike. The meals delicious, very nicely kept rooms and gardens. A delightful place to live.
