I find the staff and management very kind and helpful. Problems are sorted when needed. Home is very clean with lots of activities each day when staff are available. Food is fine. May think about this service myself when the time comes.

We have been really pleased with the sensitive care and attention that the staff have bestowed upon my mum. She is well fed and all her requests for information have always been responded to in a detailed manner. Her room is very comfortable and kept clean and tidy. The furniture is new and of high quality. My mum has made the transition from sheltered accommodation (for 33 years) to residential care very successfully and although she would rather be at "home", she recognises that she is safe at Ravenhurst Residential Care Home. We cannot thank the management and staff for all their excellent work, they treat her with dignity and respect.

The staff have made my Granny feel very welcome and cared for. Even when at times she may be a little difficult - Granny has moved from Bath and the transition has extremely smooth and stress-free for both Granny and her family.

My mum suffers from dementia and has been a resident since December 2016. She has really settled in and all the staff have taken great care of her. She is really comfortable here and long may that continue.

I visit once a month to take Communion and a member of our chaplaincy team visit regularly. Despite busy routines, the Activities Coordinator is prepared, welcoming, helpful and with the services advertised. We are signposted to those in need. The staff come across as caring and thoughtful to the residents and are learning not to be unnecessarily obtrusive. The atmosphere is light and airy and we see advertised many activities for residents. The only adverse comment is the regret about the closure of the Day Centre, which was an excellent local resource - maximising profit seems to have come before service to the community in Sanctuary's strategic thinking. You have some excellent staff.

A friend I looked after for 17 years came into Ravenhurst Residential Care Home due to being lazy and stuck in his ways. Not washing, eating etc. He is now eating well and cleaning and may be able to return home.

Residents are treated with dignity and are supported in doing activities. All residents appear clean and are well looked after. Mum has told me herself she is well looked after telling me one day to go home after a visit, that she was in good hands. Also early one morning she became very ill. Staff phoned me to come in and were very supportive to me at this time. Thankfully mum came round and is in good health again. Also, I have peace of mind knowing mum is in good hands.

My mother has been residing at Ravenhurst for nearly 6 years - over that period I have found all members of staff very caring and professional at all times. They all take good care of my mum and I am really pleased with all areas of care.

When you walk into this care home you are hit by the nice atmosphere and the pleasant, helpful reception staff contribute to this. The carers too are always pleasant and it's nice to hear the kind way in which the residents are treated by them.

The other day I overheard one of the cleaning staff chatting to a resident. It's very noticeable here that all the staff, from the kitchen, laundry, maintenance, cleaners to the manager care for the well-being of the people residing here. It is very reassuring for those of us leaving our loved ones knowing they are having the best care possible.

My brother stayed for 2 weeks respite care at Ravenhurst in November 2014 the care he received from all concerned was second to none, it was the first time he has been away from home.

From July 2014 to March 2015 he attended the day centre Ravenhurst until it closed, which was such a shame because it provided terrific care, those girls were wonderful. I am writing this for my brother as he suffers from Parkinson's.

My mother has been in Ravenhurst for 9 months approx. She is frail and vulnerable. She has the highest confidence and trust in the quality of care she is receiving, in particular she says often that the staff are very kind and thoughtful.
