Overall Experience

Both my parents are residents. Staff are mostly helpful and friendly, which I think is very good.

Rooms are small, especially my mother's (for the amount it costs per week). I wish she had a big enough room to get a wardrobe for her clothes, but it is not possible to have it as well as the 2 chairs Mum and Dad sit on.

Most queries or problems are well handled. However, my wife asked me to say that she took some lights in for my mother about 4 weeks ago (decorative lights, my mother liked them at home). She has asked several times and I asked also, but have had no feedback on why the lights haven't been put up in Mum's room for her.

Food: I would like them to have more fresh vegetables or fruit juice perhaps, for vitamins.

The home appears to be run efficiently with caring staff. My mother is usually dressed nicely and is clean. Her room always looks well tended.

Overall Experience
My sister and I have been very pleased with the care provided by St Stephens. Our mother is happy in this home, the staff are friendly and caring.
However, there have been issues with mums personal hygiene, hair needed washing, nails cutting and on occasions, her pad has not been changed.

Overall, we are pleased with her care.

St Stephens have cared for my father for several years now, and in this time I have found the to be loving and caring towards him. He enjoys the food and has a lovely room. They have a thankless task on their hands but will always give 110% with a smile. Thank you St Stephens.
