The variety of activities the residents enjoy at Westmead is very special. The home’s award-winning activities coordinator is passionate about researching residents’ life histories, to find out what matters to them, so she can organise activities that bring them joy.
And the group activities are just as special, from surprise ‘Magical Mystery Tours’ in the minibus, to trips to local attractions like the riverside at Worcester and local equestrian centre.

Finding the right care home for my dad, who has dementia, was incredibly important to me, and I truly feel relieved to have found Westmead. What stands out most is how genuinely caring and attentive the staff are-they go above and beyond every day to ensure residents feel valued, included, and comfortable.
I especially appreciate the wide range of activities offered, many of which are thoughtfully tailored to reflect the residents' interests and past lives. It's clear that there's a real effort to maintain a sense of identity and joy for everyone living there.

Everyone at Westmead is friendly, and they are very caring. My husband has been a resident for more than two years, and I have a regular update on him, which is reassuring. He has several issues, but if there is a problem, it is dealt with and if he needs help, they are always there. There are lots of activities which the residents are encouraged to join in with, and I would highly recommend this care home with its family atmosphere.
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're pleased to hear how supported your husband feels and that regular updates bring reassurance. It's lovely to know our team responds promptly to his needs and encourages involvement in activities, helping to create the warm, family atmosphere you describe.
The staff at Westmead are such wonderful, caring people. They treat each person as a special individual and do everything they can to meet their individual needs. I cannot express enough how happy I am that I chose Westmead for my husband to reside. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make but it was definitely the right one. Christmas was hard without him but he had a wonderful time in Westmead, thanks to all the staff making that possible.

Excellent home. Decor, cleanliness, general atmosphere. Lovely range of activities and brilliant activities coordinator. Garden is lovely - best I've seen in a care home. Much better than a similar type of care home I've seen in North-West England. All together a superior experience!

I cannot thank the staff enough for the excellent care my mum received at Westmead. This was our first experience of respite and I was really worried but I was put at ease. I phoned after but never felt like I was hindering the staff and they always had time to talk and tell me what Mum had been doing. I also loved the photos I received when we collected her.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt feedback. We're so glad we could make your first respite experience a positive one and help put your worries at ease. We're happy to hear you felt supported and informed throughout your mum's stay. It's wonderful that the photos brought a smile, and we hope to welcome you both back again soon.
We are lucky to have found Westmead. Staff friendly, helpful and always cheerful, keen to help both residents and visitors. We were put at ease. Food was good and healthy, all usually eaten. Drinks being brought around on a regular basis. Rooms always clean and tidy. My wife went on trips on the minibus local beauty spots. She enjoyed the fete and many activities, of which there are many. On visiting we sat out in the garden which is well maintained. We will use again in the future with apprehension. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're thrilled to hear that you and your wife had such a positive experience at Westmead. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Thank you for choosing us.
