As a newly owned and refurbished home, Doddington Lodge offers the very best luxury facilities in stunning surroundings. A modern bistro dining room with a delicious daily menu created by an accomplished chef. Individually designed spacious double rooms, allowing couples to stay together or beautiful single rooms all with ensuites and stunning countryside views. Even a hairdressing salon for a little pampering to provide a place of well-being. A specialist Dementia wing with a highly trained Dementia team is also available.

Offering a flexible respite care service that is tailored to you and your families individual needs. The Doddington Lodge team will work with you to find the right solution, so you can emotionally and physically recharge those batteries.

Mum was transferred to Doddington Lodge after a stay in the hospital, where she contracted Covid-19 and was put in isolation for ten days. Not good for a 94-year-old with dementia! She had deteriorated considerably both physically and mentally. Mum has now resided there for five weeks and the difference
in her is quite remarkable. She is so well looked after that she has regained her appetite, put on weight and is generally very happy and settled. All the residents are treated with great love, patience and good humour, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. A variety of interesting daily activities is organised for the residents, ranging from baking, art and craft to making cocktails, mocktails and terrariums. Doddington Lodge is a small and personal care home. It is clean, bright and airy and the decor is modern and tasteful. The outside environment is equally well-kept and inviting, with a sensory garden and even a pond with ducklings. I would recommend them unreservedly.

Doddington Lodge has a warm homely feeling to it, the care Mum receives is first class and we couldn’t ask for more.
The daily activities keep Mum busy ranging from cookery to gardening, painting to crafting and everything in between. Birthdays are celebrated with elaborate cakes and the residents
are made to feel extra special on their day.
The facilities are excellent, Mum has a light, airy and spotlessly clean bedroom with an en-
suite shower room.
I would recommend Doddington Lodge to anyone looking for home from home care.

So pleased to be able to get Mum into Doddington Lodge, every aspect has been very good so far, the whole team care so much for all, including us relatives.
The manager and his colleagues are very attentive to our needs.
The room and other facilities are excellent, I highly recommend them.

What a gem. Have been dreading the day when I could no longer cope, but Doddington Lodge has dispersed all my fears. The manager and staff are so lovely and caring. The property itself feels like a proper home. My husband settled in well within two weeks, and is happy and comfortable. I can ask for
nothing more.

This feels like a home from home. It has top quality furnishings, a dining room which feels more like being in a bistro or restaurant and a large spacious, comfortable sitting room. Again, more like a hotel than anything else. Whilst I was visiting, the family of other residents visited and it resulted
in a warm and welcoming atmosphere which all were able to enjoy.
Above everything else, though is my admiration for the staff and the way they are looking after the people in their care. They are attentive, kind and do their utmost to put things in place which will give the residents the best possible experience. Nothing is too much trouble- and as a relative, it is the open and honest communication which they all found time to give me which counts for so much. A really super place.
