Where do I start. All of the staff have made the transition of moving my father in law in to the home a seamless one. The staff are kind, approachable and genuinely caring to each and every resident and their families. Can not thank the staff enough for everything they do to keep my father in law happy, safe and well cared for.

My Mother in Law was devastated to need to come into the care system and have such a massive life change, as were we, her family. We all had preconceived ideas. However, we could not be happier with how kind, caring , positive and patient all staff have been, right from the outset. We arrived and were instantly put at ease, and made to feel like staff had all the time in the world for us. Mom in law. Is a very private person, and this has been fostered so carefully, respecting her dignity and privacy . After a few weeks at Bower Grange , it is heartwarming to see her settling in and start to socialise and make friends. She is starting to enjoy life again, I feel. Thankyou Bower grange Staff, because you are the heart of the home of your residents.

What a wonderful Care Home. It's been nearly 12 months since my Grandad moved in here after a hospital visit which resulted in social workers saying he needed to be in full time care. Heartbreaking & one of the hardest realities for us as a family to come to terms with but our mission was to find the perfect one. Staff at Bower Grange are incredible & we chose them based on reading reviews like this online along with visiting. From the moment my Grandad arrived he was made to feel part of the family. The staff are compassionate, caring & they go above & beyond always to make him feel at home & reassure him. The love & care they have for all residents is clear to see which is heart warming as a family member that visits to know loved ones are truly being taken care of. The food is amazing, regular snacks/drinks throughout the day, weekly entertainment, hairdresser, fun days/Arts & Crafts & always so clean. Thank you all for being so amazing always. Truly appreciate all that you do xxxx

This is a wonderful care home for my mother. We looked at a few, and none matched up to the care like Bower Grange. Everyone that works there, not just the nursing staff, but everyone is so very, very caring, lovely people. It’s such a pleasure to see everyone there being cared for on a very high level. Even when we visit, we are offered a drink. We are then taken with Mum into a conservatory to chat. Highly recommend. Could not ask for more!

Mum has Alzheimer's and has been a resident at Bower Grange for 3 years, taking residence during the height of Covid restrictions. Although we were therefore unable to inspect the premises or to go inside, we were encouraged to phone her as often as we wished, and as soon as regulations allowed, could visit her outside her bedroom window, which then gradually progressed to long-awaited touch visits. During this unprecedented time, the staff were always available to discuss any concerns by phone. Mum's room is lovely - always very clean and looks out onto a lovely garden. Our visits are encouraged and Mum always appears comfortable, well-dressed and well fed. Her hair is done and often her nails are polished. She smiles and seems very happy when approached by the staff who genuinely seem to care about her wellbeing. They are also always very welcoming to us. There is regular entertainment (games, bingo and crafts) and I feel very confident that Mum is safe and well cared for.

Mum came to Bower Grange after having a few falls. Mum has dementia and at the grand age of 93 we felt she needed 24 hour care. It was not an easy decision to make and as a family we did worry. There was no need to worry at all. The love, care and kindness all the staff have shown Mum has been second to none. The home has a warm welcoming friendly atmosphere. It is spotlessly clean. Mum says the food is lovely. We would not hesitate in recommending Bower Grange to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

My mother became a resident at Bower Grange in December 2019. Until then she had been living independently and was very proud of her independence. Sadly, following a fall, and because of dementia, this was no longer possible. We were concerned at how well she would be able to adjust to her new surroundings. Thanks to the kindness, care and consideration of the wonderful staff, she soon settled in and seems to be very happy there. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bower Grange.

All staff were caring, supportive, helpful, and responsive to my dad's needs. Competent, having the right knowledge to care effectively, giving my dad a good quality of life.
Communication was excellent, so as a family, we were kept involved in Dad's care.
Bower Grange was a home-from-home. The staff and residents became extended family. It was a lovely caring community and we were welcomed in.

As Dad deteriorated, they supported us through a very sad time, showing great respect, discretion, sensitivity and compassion, maintaining his dignity.

Wonderful, friendly staff who take care of Mum's every need. The home is clean, well-equipped and well-run, and Mum seems to be happy there, which matters the most. There are often activities taking place in the lounge area, and there is never a shortage of friendly faces. The care home keeps in touch regarding Mum's health and care plan.

My Dad has been in Bower Grange for over 12 months now and I cannot recommend this care home enough. The care the staff give the residents is exceptional.
When we visit my dad everyone who works there is always so welcoming and take the time to chat with you and let you know how things are going.
Bedrooms are large and always clean, Day room is bright and always has a great atmosphere,
The large conservatory on the back is a great plus point as looks out onto a large Garden which is my dads favourite place.

The carers who work there really do make Bower Grange a Bright and Happy environment for all the residents.

Bower Grange has been home to my mother for three years now.
Inside the building always appears clean and fresh, and visitors are made to feel welcome by a cheerful team of staff, many of whom have worked there together for years, making for a friendly, caring atmosphere.
Senior staff are always happy to answer questions and follow up on any concerns and will phone promptly if there's any change of circumstances to report. It's lovely to see staff chatting and laughing with residents in the lounge and regular sessions of singing, games and other activities taking place.

Most importantly (to me), my mother has often said, 'it's nice here' - and after three years, she would know.

My mum has had dementia for five years, and as her condition deteriorated, she required 24-hour care. I contacted the team at Bower with regard to care and if they had any rooms for her. They were both polite and very caring in the way they dealt with both my and my mum's worries about how she would cope when she left her family home. The care and kitchen staff are just fantastic. They make my mum smile and laugh, which is something that hasn't happened in a while. She is extremely well looked after and fed. The home itself is always clean and tidy, toasty and warm, which I like.

The home is a warm and friendly environment, and the staff are kind, helpful and caring. We would definitely recommend Bower Grange to anyone looking for a home for their loved ones. The residents always seem happy and content, with there being plenty of activities to do. All the food is home-cooked, and special requests are catered for; my mom says she always really enjoys the food and especially the puddings.
