Coventry Road, Coleshill, Birmingham B46 3EA
St Catherine’s Bungalows form the heart of Father Hudson’s learning disabilities service. Three purpose-built bungalows are home to sixteen people with a range of learning, physical and sensory disabilities. Each bungalow has its own distinct, family feel and no two are the same.
Residents have private bedrooms with an en-suite shower or bathroom and access to specialist equipment such as hoists and chairs designed to make life easier. Outside, the wheelchair-accessible garden overlooks the beautiful North Warwickshire countryside.
When not enjoying excursions, many residents spend their days at St Catherine’s Day Service, a couple of minutes’ walk away. At Day Service, residents mix with others from the surrounding area, enjoying the sensory garden and indoor sensory area, the hydrotherapy pool and activities from Zumba to needlecraft, cookery and gardening.
Staff at St Catherine’s also support residents of St Vincent’s House, a block of flats designed for independent living. All are located on Father Hudson’s campus in Coleshill, a village setting just outside Birmingham.
