We were incredibly lucky to have found Ashfields and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Thank you for such an amazing review. Well done team poppy
The building is always well kept and clean. The staff are wonderful! They are very kind and the level of care is second to none. I always feel mum is safe, well cared for and happy.
Thank you so much for such an amazing review. Well done team Ashfields
I am very happy with the care my sister receives. I sometimes worry about the time she spends alone in her room. I also think she may not be drinking enough fluids. Really pleased with the access to staff to talk about concerns.
My mother has been on Poppy Suite for nearly five years now and I Can say that the care has been exceptional. I have found all the staff have been welcoming to myself but more importantly their attention and professionalism towards my mother has been second to none. I can also say that all other aspects of the home, laundry, cleaning and administration and management have been excellent too.
Thank you so much for the glowing review,we pride ourselves on our professional and caring staff. Well done team Poppy.
My dad is a resident in poppy suite . The staff are amazing with my dad as my dad can be abit challenging. They are always friendly and welcoming. There's always plenty of staff on shift and the staff keep me updated with my dad's overall health. Staff work well as team and support each other. Really happy with my dad being at Ashfields and very happy with the support and care he is given, would highly recommend Ashfields Poppy Suite.
Thank you so much for an amazing review well done team poppy
First time in this residence to visit my sister who came in few days ago , wow this place deserves a medal , every member of staff since I walked through the door is first class , the place is just full of joy , beautifully decorated the standard is beyond first class .
Thank you so much for a great review. Nothing more than our ladies and gentlemen (and visitors) deserve
I have visited a number of care homes in the past year and every reservation I had was wiped away here. This place is staffed by angels. Been here in the day and the night and the love and care provided never falters. Every member of staff here have proved amazing - food, cleaning, admin and care.1st rate.
Thank you so much for an amazing review well done team Bluebell
I cannot praise all of the staff highly enough for the constant and professional care they gave dad over the final months of this life. They all had very kind words to say about him and I know that he will be missed.
They made his last journey peaceful and pain free which myself and my family are immensely grateful for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashfields to anyone who wants the peace of mind that their loved one will get excellent care which goes above and beyond expectations.
Thank you so much for such a touching review it means so much well done team daffodil
I am highly satisfied with the care my dad receives at Ashfields. It has taken away all the worries I had being his full time carer prior to the move. You are very much part of the Ashfields family every time we visit, it is so welcoming and friendly. All staff are willing to chat and listen. My dad frequently tells me 'its like a 5 star hotel in here'. Would highly recommend Ashfields.
Thanks for the great review well done team Daffodil
My mum has been in Ashfield for 5 months now. I cannot fault the care that my mum is receiving. The care given to her by the nurses and carers is outstanding. The food is exceptional with plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. There are always plenty of activities and opportunities for residents to interact. There are lots of family areas and the decor in the rooms is excellent. Overall we have been very happy and would recommend Ashfield to everyone.
Thank you so much for a lovely review well done team Daffodil
My mother stayed at Ashfields for 3 months after a fall, when I couldn't meet her care needs. The home feels more like a welcoming hotel than a typical care facility, with a very high staff-to-resident ratio that ensures attentive care. The food was truly delicious-homemade soups, hearty meals, and plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cakes to enjoy. The staff are incredibly caring and friendly; most of them knew who I was and kindly kept me updated about my mother as I walked past in the corridor. The bond between the carers and my mother was heartwarming. On her last day, one of the nurses sat with her before I arrived, so she wasn't alone. I can't recommend Ashfields enough-every aspect was wonderful. I'm so grateful I chose them for my mother.
Thank you so much for such a great review. Well done team daffodil
Our lovely mother-in-law, came into your home in Aug 25 she came in on respite as it was a rush to find her somewhere to live quickly, and you obliged. I can not thank you enough, as the quality of care has been truly wonderful, I'd like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts, especially Gail, Tracey for making us all feel so welcome.
Thank you for your kind words, well done team Daffodil
Well done Ashfields.
Thank you Tanya for a lovely review Well done team Daffodil
From the minute our dad arrived, he was treated with the upmost dignity and made to feel at home. All the way through his care, he was treated like a family member by all of the Team. Nothing he or we asked for was ever too much even down to his poached eggs!, When he passed, staff did all they could to ensure we were supported and he was given the best care to the very last second. They even took a time out of their day to say a final goodbye to dad as he was taken away. There was not a second that went by without full care and love. We have nothing but gratitude, thanks and the upmost respect to all that cared for him
Thanks Sam the pleasure was all ours, your dad was a huge character and will be missed. Well done team Daffodil
After 5 weeks in hospital my elderly father was transferred to Ashfields Care Home on fast track palliative care. From the minute he arrived he has been treated with constant kindness, dignity and respect. We as a family cannot praise the care home enough. The care he continues to receive is outstanding from everyone in the home. It is a comfort to us to know how content he is during his last few months of life due to this outstanding place and its wonderful staff. Thank you.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review the pleasure is all ours. Well done team Daffodil
My mum has been at Ashfields Care Home for over a year now and the care she has, has been amazing. The staff and management are all lovely and really make a fuss of my mum, she is really struggling with her speech and mobility but the staff are always trying to get her to join in with the activities which the home put on. There's always something going on for everyone.
Thank you so much for your great review
Initially I found the experience of dad moving into Ashfields Care Home very harrowing and confusing as although dad decided he wanted to go into a care home, he struggled with the situation and my sister and I were 'blamed'. The majority of staff have been caring, kind, considerate and welcoming and have gone out of their way to be friendly and helpful nd have been excellent and work extremely hard. Dad has gradually mellowed and certainly enjoys the banter and kindness of the majority of the staff. We do feel his room needs decorating and his bathroom.
I find all the staff to be excellent and very friendly. Mum is on Poppy. Since moving in on the 24th January 2024. We feel Mum has improved. As a family we are disappointed with the £869 increase in fees, monthly, which is £76,65.00 per year. We do think its one of the best care homes.
We too feel your Mum has improved whilst living at Ashfields that's always our aim.Due to global cost of living increases the only way we can provide the outstanding service and facilities is by increasing the fees to make the business financially viable and allow us to have good staffing levels...
My mother who resided on Poppy suite where I found the staff are very pleasant and caring always busy with activities, singing and general things to do. Always clean and tidy. My mother is very happy made friends and has settled down very well.
My partner is now in her eighth week at Ashfields and I am so pleased that they were able to offer her a bed. Her general well-being has improved immensely and her physical and mental states have blossomed. She is quite a character and at times can present some challenging behaviour which the staff have dealt with in a most professional and caring way. Any problem or concern is sorted promptly and efficiently. She hasn't been so happy and settled for such a long time. As her dementia journey progresses it is a great comfort to me to know that we will be supported every step of the way by a great team of people who are dedicated and genuinely care. Many thanks to everyone particularly to those in Forget-Me-Not suite.
Thank you so much for an amazing review well done team FMN
