The staff were very helpful and understanding and nothing was too much trouble to help Robert from settling in. The home itself was highly put together and the staff were always helpful caring I would recommend this to anyone

Parking for visitors is limited that would be my only concern

From the moment mum was brought in to Ashfields we knew that she would be safe and comfortable and constantly looked after. Even though she was only there for just over 2 weeks she was given all the support she needed.

My mum was in ashfields for over 4years and recieved the most amazing care ever ,she loved it there and especially the very special staff she wanted for nothing was got out of bed everyday and was beautifully looked after ,lost my mum but gained a lot of friends thank you all ,just got to book my place now .

I would strongly recommend Ashfields to everyone.

Excellent service, care and compassion at all times, spotless clean, if I could give it 6 stars I would. Its absolutely a wonderful place for a relative to stay, the staff are superb. The attention to detail that the owner as put in to making this nursing home outstanding is unbelievable, quality of rooms far outstrip many hotels that I have stayed in for holiday this is truly a 5 star nursing home. The love and care that staff members gave to my sisters short stay was unbelievable. I have been in many nursing homes as a funeral director and I must say none are any where as good as this one. If I could I would reserve this nursing home for myself for the future.

All staff that we have seen and spoken to genuinely care and cannot do enough. Sadly, my auntie's stay was not that long as she had terminal cancer but she was happy and her happiness was key to us as her family. Her being happy, made us content and knew we could trust you with my auntie's care. Jo is outstanding and really welcomed and made my auntie feel at home like part of a wider family and that's truly unique. I cannot thank ALL the staff enough for making a difference to my auntie during her stay. The home is outstanding on every level. It does not matter what role a staff member undertakes, they all have the same care, empathy and commitment to residents and making a difference. Thank you all.

We could not of wished for better care for my auntie. All of the staff were so caring, kind and compassionate towards my auntie and our family. The care home is like a 5 star hotel. Even the bedroom was warm and cosy. Highly recommend.

We always found nothing was too much trouble. Every visit we felt integral to the community and were looked after ourselves with cups of tea and chats.

The building is always well kept and clean. The staff are wonderful! They are very kind and the level of care is second to none. I always feel mum is safe, well cared for and happy.

I am very happy with the care my sister receives. I sometimes worry about the time she spends alone in her room. I also think she may not be drinking enough fluids. Really pleased with the access to staff to talk about concerns.

My mother has been on Poppy Suite for nearly five years now and I Can say that the care has been exceptional. I have found all the staff have been welcoming to myself but more importantly their attention and professionalism towards my mother has been second to none. I can also say that all other aspects of the home, laundry, cleaning and administration and management have been excellent too.

My dad is a resident in poppy suite . The staff are amazing with my dad as my dad can be abit challenging. They are always friendly and welcoming. There's always plenty of staff on shift and the staff keep me updated with my dad's overall health. Staff work well as team and support each other. Really happy with my dad being at Ashfields and very happy with the support and care he is given, would highly recommend Ashfields Poppy Suite.

First time in this residence to visit my sister who came in few days ago , wow this place deserves a medal , every member of staff since I walked through the door is first class , the place is just full of joy , beautifully decorated the standard is beyond first class .

I have visited a number of care homes in the past year and every reservation I had was wiped away here. This place is staffed by angels. Been here in the day and the night and the love and care provided never falters. Every member of staff here have proved amazing - food, cleaning, admin and care.1st rate.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashfields to anyone who wants the peace of mind that their loved one will get excellent care which goes above and beyond expectations.

I am highly satisfied with the care my dad receives at Ashfields. It has taken away all the worries I had being his full time carer prior to the move. You are very much part of the Ashfields family every time we visit, it is so welcoming and friendly. All staff are willing to chat and listen. My dad frequently tells me 'its like a 5 star hotel in here'. Would highly recommend Ashfields.

My mum has been in Ashfield for 5 months now. I cannot fault the care that my mum is receiving. The care given to her by the nurses and carers is outstanding. The food is exceptional with plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. There are always plenty of activities and opportunities for residents to interact. There are lots of family areas and the decor in the rooms is excellent. Overall we have been very happy and would recommend Ashfield to everyone.

My mother stayed at Ashfields for 3 months after a fall, when I couldn't meet her care needs. The home feels more like a welcoming hotel than a typical care facility, with a very high staff-to-resident ratio that ensures attentive care. The food was truly delicious-homemade soups, hearty meals, and plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cakes to enjoy. The staff are incredibly caring and friendly; most of them knew who I was and kindly kept me updated about my mother as I walked past in the corridor. The bond between the carers and my mother was heartwarming. On her last day, one of the nurses sat with her before I arrived, so she wasn't alone. I can't recommend Ashfields enough-every aspect was wonderful. I'm so grateful I chose them for my mother.
