Mum always received good care and attention. She was very comfortable and always commented on how good the meals were and always plenty of it. Seale Pastures House go above and beyond with residents' families too!

These ladies who work there went above and beyond the call of duty to look after my mum in her final weeks. She had been there for nearly three years and was cared for very well up until her passing. We were always made to feel welcome.

My dad was made really welcome when he first arrived on 23rd December 2022. I'd gone previously, on 21st December 2022, to look around and felt completely comfortable when I walked in the door. My dad never asked when he was going home. The staff really cared about him, I liked the way the staff got everyone up and they sat together in the lounge, had breakfast and lunch at dining tables (not just left them in bedrooms) and all sat comfortably in the lounge for sandwiches at tea time.

My mum, who has dementia, has lived at Seale Pastures House for eight months. She never wanted to live in a care home, but necessity intervened and she was discharged there straight from hospital. She settled in immediately, due in no small part to the care and compassion shown by every member of staff we have met. Sadly, Mum's condition means that she is not the easiest of residents to deal with, but I have never been made to feel that anything is too much trouble for anyone - including my endless questions! Until recently, I always thought that the care Mum received was excellent - now I know it's absolutely brilliant! After a couple of medical emergencies, Mum was admitted to hospital, and not only was everyone kind and supportive of Mum, both pre-admission and on her return, but they also supported me throughout a very traumatic period. I really cannot thank them enough for their kindness and understanding, which has meant so much to me and my family.

My mother-in-law always said she never wanted to go into a care home. We don't always have any safer options, so when she was hospitalised following a fall she, I think, realised how vulnerable she has become at her great age and suggested that a care home might be a better option for her.
Unfortunately, she varies in her perception of things and has bad days as well as good days. Sometimes I don't know which of the things she says are true and which are imagined, especially about food.

My son and I believe she is in the best place and is receiving very good care from the staff, both carers and management. She has only been there for a couple of months, but the home has taken a great weight off my shoulders and have enabled me to continue with my life, free from worrying about her.

Excellent staff. Nursing and care staff are very caring and helpful. Personal care is good with additional hair and nails pampering provided. Mum is happy and has made some new friends. Rooms are good and good cleaning standard. Activities available for residents. Overall a good service.

Overall Experience
Well what can I say, only that we wish we’d have found this home sooner, after trying previous homes my grandad wasn’t settling. We decided to try Seale Pastures and never looked back. As soon as you enter you become part of their family and immediately my grandad was happy and content. He was unfortunately only there 6 months but we take pleasure in the fact he lived out his last days as happy as could be. He especially loved all the music sessions the home put on. This is just one of the things this home does, they go above and beyond not only for the patients but their families also. They are at the heart of dementia and understand exactly what this complex disease can create and how to deal with it. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home

Even after Grandad's passing the carers are still a part of our family as the way they cared for him they became as one to us and we will always support the care home going forwards in any way we can.

I have visited my friend twice now, and he looks well cared for. The staff seem very pleasant and caring. Everywhere seems well cared for and clean. The garden is well kept and ice for him to get some fresh air.

My mother has been a resident at Seale Pastures House for over three years. The home has improved beyond recognition in every way with new management and staff during the last year.
All staff are thoughtful and kind and even find time to take into account residents' family problems outside the care home when families may be struggling to maintain visits; it really is a home-from-home for residents.
Any concerns I have about my mother’s care and health issues are discussed, and the staff can always find time for us so any concerns can be addressed satisfactorily. If an accident/illness occurs, we are contacted and kept updated on any issues - this is a comfort to family members.

I would like to thank all staff for their care and hard work.

The care my mother receives is excellent. The staff are always very pleasant, and my mother is very happy in their care.
My mother had a haematoma in January, and the care home basically saved her life by their prompt action and administering antibiotics.

Very pleased with the care she receives.

We found the staff very helpful and understanding. My dad found the care good but was not settled, as besides staff most of the other residents did not converse, this making the days very long.

We are very happy with the care he receives. His room and ensuite are always clean. He is always clean and tidy, although sometimes he refuses to have a shave. The staff are very patient with him when he becomes agitated. The food is excellent, and if he has a fall or is ill, he is well cared for, and we are informed immediately.

My mother was in the home from April 2022 till she passed away in December 2022. You could not wish for any more love and care that all the staff gave to her. Nothing was too much trouble if you asked them to do anything for her. She really settled at the home, and the home gave a warm and caring feel.

Mum had to come for respite for two weeks. What can I say, the staff go above and beyond, and my mum was looked after. The staff work very hard and are on the go at all times, but their time and care are excellent. Thank you to all staff who have taken care of my mum these past two weeks.

The care my husband received at Seale Pastures was outstanding. All staff were so nice to him and made sure all his needs were met; they all went above and beyond to make his respite as comfortable as possible. My father had to come into the home for respite whilst my mum had an operation. He was very nervous as he had never been in a care home before and has Huntington's and Lewy Body Dementia. All the staff have been amazing at settling him in and making him welcome and comfortable. The care he has received has been second to none, and I cannot thank the staff enough. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and I can not recommend the home enough.
