My experience of Seal Pastures is generally good, but I do feel at times they seem to be understaffed. Also, I would like to see a more hands-on approach with the residents as they spend many hours with no conversation at all.

Dad is settled at Seale Pastures, he is comfortable in his surroundings and enjoys the food. He has a good relationship with the carers. It seems to me that they care for him and they want the best for him. I appreciate that he is part of a home/family that includes residents and staff and the visitors.

A beautiful residential care home in a rural setting. Wonderful garden to sit in with a shop and hairdressers. The staff are genuine people, caring for the older generation, with each individuals best interests at heart. My mum was transformed in three weeks respite and came home happier and healthier.
Seale is a clean, attractive,'homely' home, great cooking and not in anyway austere or intimidating.

I contacted the manager for initially emergency respite after my father-in-law took ill. They came into our lives when we needed them the most. From initially walking in and the following care was excellent, unfortunately, he wasn't with them long and needed palliative care for his end of life care.
Everyone took time to support us a family as much as my father-in-law, and he was able to experience one of his happiest days in many years when the home had a tea dance afternoon. To everyone, thank you!

My aunt is ok here,m sometimes she gets fed up. I would be in an old folks home! The care is great, sometimes she doesn't like to be told she can do things like getting herself out of bed when she feels week and needs assistance. The meals are ok, but sometimes they look the same colour and unappetizing.
Overall, she is well looked after and is very happy here.

My mother has been to Seale Pastures several times in the past for respite and enjoyed each visit.
She has recently decided to stay permanently as she is 91 and not able to cope at home.
The staff are always friendly and reliable and so I feel she is in safe hands.

We feel very happy as a family, leaving my father in Seale Pastures. The staff are all very kind and look after my father very well. The food has improved in the last two months to a high standard. The rooms are kept very clean and tidy, washing is all done and put away. He enjoys the entertainment

My mum died 2 years ago but was a resident from 2011-2014. She received such good care and the staff (most of whom are still there) did so much for her. I visit regularly still to keep in touch with them and chat to other residents that I got to know.
The staff are wonderful - look after them so well

My mother came to Seale Pastures House after a long hospital stay. She has settled very well enjoying time spent with other residents and activities at the care home. She was uncertain whether to stay due to the location from her previous home but has now decided she is happy to do so.

The facilities are first class, the care my mother has received could not have been better anywhere in the area.
The cost as my mother is self-funding is below average cost for the area.
The care staff are friendly and very conscientious towards the residents.
