Seale Pastures House

I contacted the manager for initially emergency respite after my father-in-law took ill. They came into our lives when we needed them the most. From initially walking in and the following care was excellent, unfortunately, he wasn't with them long and needed palliative care for his end of life care. Everyone took time to support us a family as much as my father-in-law, and he was able to experience one of his happiest days in many years when the home had a tea dance afternoon. To everyone, thank you!

I would like to comment on the vast improvement of late. The facilities are very good. The staff and management are excellent and seem to be of good spirits. Nothing is too much trouble.

My aunt is ok here,m sometimes she gets fed up. I would be in an old folks home! The care is great, sometimes she doesn't like to be told she can do things like getting herself out of bed when she feels week and needs assistance. The meals are ok, but sometimes they look the same colour and unappetizing. Overall, she is well looked after and is very happy here.

Staff very caring and treated Mum with dignity, encouraged her to take part in activities and gave support. Mum felt safe and called it her home.

The staff are always friendly and reliable and so I feel she is in safe hands.

Seale Pastures House is a lovely place. The care and support is very good and you are always made to feel welcome. There's bingo, quizzes, crafts for residents to join in, would recommend this home.

We feel very happy as a family, leaving my father in Seale Pastures. The staff are all very kind and look after my father very well. The food has improved in the last two months to a high standard. The rooms are kept very clean and tidy, washing is all done and put away. He enjoys the entertainment provided.

Mum has been in Seale Pastures for 2 years and has been very happy although I feel there should be more activities to do as she gets bored with not being mobile.

The staff are wonderful - look after them so well as the resident's please.

Overall a very well run home for my mother.

The home is always clean and odour free. Residents are very well cared for and the home is bright and homely. Staff are always approachable and kind and caring. There are daily activities which are variable to all residents who want to participate.

I think the home gives very good care and service to my mother and the staff are very kind to her.

My mother came to Seale Pastures House after a long hospital stay. She has settled very well enjoying time spent with other residents and activities at the care home. She was uncertain whether to stay due to the location from her previous home but has now decided she is happy to do so.

A warm, friendly, clean home in a lovely setting. Quickly became a 'home from home' for my mother under difficult circumstances.

Staff always make me welcome when visiting my mother. A warm and friendly atmosphere. They let me know if my mother is unwell etc. Very clean environment, no nasty smells. Mother is kept nice and clean, hair shampooed, showered clothes washed etc. My mother is very well looked after and taken care of.

Overall the care is good. The food is good. The home is nice and clean and I feel my mother is well looked after and to a high standard. As all care homes, they could be cheaper.

Mum has stayed in various care homes before she came to Seale Pastures House but none came up to the standard of care, cleanliness and security that she has received since she became a resident two years ago.

We have always thought that mum would enjoy being in the right care environment as she is a gregarious, witty and appreciative individual. Who remains active by providing gifts for others with prodigious knitting talent. Indeed we would like to think the home has been enhanced by her presence. Finally, as a son and daughter, we have also made new friends at the home and enjoy our visits to see mum
