My dad has moved here for respite after time in hospital. He is absolutely thriving and is able to be as independent as he chooses to be. He is encouraged to join in with activities or to sit quietly as he wishes. We're really pleased with has well he is being cared for and the support from the staff with visiting services eg eye test. The care home has been a lot calmer recently and that's been so good as its helped mums mood to lift. The food has improved with more snacks the cutlery is still dirty at times and the food can be lukewarm - big portions too so there's a lot of waste. Considering the challenges presented by some of the residents a high level of care is delivered and the staff particularly the regular ones are worth their weight in gold, with personalised attention to mum as an individual. Thank you.
My father has dementia and can be demanding and needing. The staff take it all in their stride, I genuinely believe that all the staff members love and care about my father. All the staff are approachable and very knowledgeable about my fathers care and needs. The home is spotlessly clean and tidy. He is engaged with all the activities going on all the time in and out of the home.

Excellent. It's friendly and homely the staff are welcoming and caring. It is very clean and reliable and work hard. The food is acceptable, appetising, though I would like more brown bread and hot food in the middle of the day when I am more hungry, and I have tea in the evening. There are some good activities going on. I like it when people come in to sing, especially the church and children's groups.
