Douglas Court

Everybody helped to make dad's move into Douglas Court stress-free for dad and us his family. We loved the atmosphere and friendly staff the minute we entered the building.

You have taken over looking after my wife of 53 years for me as I kept going into hospital (short term).

All of the staff at Douglas Court have been wonderful.

My mother was made very welcome and helped to settle in quickly. In the friendly surroundings and ambience, she has found a new lease of life. She enjoys the many activities and socialising with residents and staff.

The rooms are of a good size and well furnished. The food is good and wholesome. Plenty of help from staff to assist. Staff are caring and polite when helping the residents with dignity and sensitivity all the time.

The building is always clean and the furniture comfortable. Residents are always well cared for in a safe, secure setting. I would be happy to recommend the home to others.

A safe and clean home. Staff are all very caring and attentive with a good sense of humour. We have seen a huge improvement in the health and well-being of our mother since she became a resident at Douglas Court.

I have found this residential/dementia care home excellent in all aspects of care. The staff team, management and all involved with the residents eg outside providers such as the entertainment uplifting every concern work as a respectful team. The atmosphere is welcoming and each person is respected and involved.

I love to call in and see my mother in law enjoying the sing-song. The staff are always lovely. Food looks great. Nice cup of tea.

My Grandad always seems to be in good health, plenty of drink and snacks. The place is lovely and warm. The staff I have spoken to are always friendly and very helpful. I cannot fault the place or people that work here. It makes a world of difference knowing that my Grandad is being wonderfully looked after and is safe. Thank you for a wonderful service and help keep my grandad's dignity.

Cannot fault Douglas Court. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the management excellent. Plenty of activities which my mother (who is 98 years old) really enjoys.

Douglas Court provides a caring environment for all that are lucky enough to reside here. The open door policy that allows full time working relatives like me, the flexibility to visit at any time on any day is incredibly valuable to me. The encouragement of younger family members and even pets to visit enables new memories to be formed even when old memories are being lost.

Trips our in the minibus. If I had to go in a home I would choose Douglas Court.

Been in numerous nursing homes and the care in Douglas Court is exceptional and when I'm older would be honoured to be accepted in there. The staff are all fantastic, especially management.

My partner's Grandma wants to come when she needs a home.
