Our family is very happy with all at Douglas Court.
We can drop in at any time and be welcomed which means a lot.

You have taken over looking after my wife of 53 years for me as I kept going into hospital (short term).

My mother had the best care I could hope for. The staff were very attentive and very professional in all tasks.
The management were very helpful and had time to discuss any problems we may have had. My only regret is having to move my mother into a nursing home.
I would recommend Douglas Court to anyone.

Well done all the staff.

What a wonderful residential home for my mother in law to spend what may be her last days.
Sadly she has deteriorated rapidly with her dementia and has had to sadly be moved into a nursing home.

All of the staff at Douglas Court have been wonderful.

My mother was made very welcome and helped to settle in quickly. In the friendly surroundings and ambience, she has found a new lease of life. She enjoys the many activities and socialising with residents and staff.

The rooms are of a good size and well furnished. The food is good and wholesome. Plenty of help from staff to assist. Staff are caring and polite when helping the residents with dignity and sensitivity all the time.

The building is always clean and the furniture comfortable. Residents are always well cared for in a safe, secure setting. I would be happy to recommend the home to others.

The manager and staff have consistently provided support to my friend through extremely difficult circumstances.
Although the situation has been stressful. They have listened to us and been professional throughout.
In addition, the managers of the carers have been impeccable and always a smiling face.

Thank you all.

My Grandad always seems to be in good health, plenty of drink and snacks. The place is lovely and warm. The staff I have spoken to are always friendly and very helpful. I cannot fault the place or people that work here. It makes a world of difference knowing that my Grandad is being wonderfully looked after and is safe. Thank you for a wonderful service and help keep my grandad's dignity.

Douglas Court provides a caring environment for all that are lucky enough to reside here. The open door policy that allows full time working relatives like me, the flexibility to visit at any time on any day is incredibly valuable to me. The encouragement of younger family members and even pets to visit enables new memories to be formed even when old memories are being lost.
