The property is spotlessly clean, and very warm and comfortable.
I have no concerns about my relatives wellbeing or health whilst at Linden. Although my aunt would rather be living independently, she cannot praise the staff highly enough.
My mum joined Linden House in August 2022 and she settled straightaway. As a family we like how homely the whole place feels and my mum is more settled because of this and the familiar faces around her. The staff are always so welcoming, kind and caring. My mum enjoys the varied activities especially the singing and other entertainment. My mum’s appetite has diminished recently but prior to this my mum enjoyed the lovely home-cooked meals. I would highly recommend Linden House to anyone who is looking for excellent, attentive care for their family member.
Linden House is a good fit for my mum. She has been a resident here for almost three years. The staff are kind and caring. The level of cleanliness is excellent. Mum is an extremely fussy eater and yet she regularly compliments the food. My mum's overall health and wellbeing has improved since being at Linden House and the staff manage her numerous health conditions well.
My mum lived at Linden House for just over 3 years. I always found both the manager and staff approachable and receptive. During her final illness, they were very keen to support her to return to spend her last days in familiar surroundings. I was moved by the care they gave her in those final days and will always be glad we chose Linden House for Mum.
When you step through the front door it is warm and smells nice and always a lovely welcome from the staff.
I always enjoy visiting Mum, the staff always make me feel very welcome and not an intrusion or a nuisance.
Being at Linden House has definitely had a positive impact on my mum despite her ongoing health issues. Peace of mind knowing she is safe, secure and well looked after.
The manager and staff are a credit to how good Linden House is for the residents and their families.
Keep doing what you are doing.
Adult social care moved my mum after safeguarding was raised over the lies and cover-ups. Really bad management, she herself should not be around the elderly arguing and shouting in front of residents. Some lovely staff and also some truthful that will tell you what really goes on with care or lack of. If you value your loved one steer clear of Linden House.
I am sorry to hear that you feel the level of service was bad. I feel that adult social care and myself went to great lengths to reassure you of the current situation with your mum's care. Adult Social Care tried their best to keep your mum at Linden House where she was happy and settled, but...
My grandma spent a month on respite care here and received excellent care! The staff are all warm and friendly, and they really helped her get back on her feet after having being in the hospital for a fall. It has a very homely feel due to it being a small care home. My grandma is a fussy eater, and her food preferences were always accommodated for.
Very home from home, from when I walked in I knew it was the place for my father. Staff and the manager go above and beyond and nothing is ever too much! Very clean and tidy. Very in-depth care planning they really know my father and his care is reviewed with us regularly which I like as I'm kept up to date with everything. They have pantomimes and shows visit which my father loves especially the musical therapy. Food choice is good traditional meals, the garden is beautiful and my father loves it in the warmer weather, last year he was painting the garden furniture with the staff which was nice to see dad still doing something he always enjoyed. I highly recommend this home as with only 16 residents the care is second to none and really personalised. The larger home my father was in previously was very daunting and his dementia just couldn't cope with it, being at Linden House has really brought my father out of his shell and we enjoy coming, I always feel very welcomed and at ease when visiting.
She was very happy in her last few years.
The staff was lovely, kind and attentive to her and can’t praise them enough for their kindness.
The home is very homely, like home from home and very welcoming to visitors too.
My mother has been a resident for approximately 5 years. I have been extremely happy with the level of care, support and dignity she has been given during that time. Staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. I would go as far as to say that I think my mother's general level of health (aside of long-term issues) has improved during her stay.
Excellent care, friendly atmosphere and a home from home. Staff always happy to answer questions. Visitors are always welcome.
