The service and care at Cedar House are outstanding. I cannot praise them enough. My mum is so well looked after and with such respect. It's such a pleasure to visit a home with such a lovely atmosphere. I was dreading Mum having to go into care, but over the last nine months Cedar House has turned upside down all my negative preconceptions.
Our mum came to Cedar House because she was recovering from a serious illness and had been in another care home for 2 weeks without a lot of care or help. Since she has been here, the care for her has been second to none. She has had a lot of medical problems whilst there and she has been looked after so very well and treated with much care and respect and love. We know she is safe and also she is happy. She has hinted that maybe she will stay here as a resident if she possibly can and this is enough for us to know she is settled. Lovely place, caring staff and an owner who is involved with the day-to-day. We most definitely recommend Cedar House.
My Mum has been a resident for 2 years and the level of care she has received in this time is second to none. All the staff are very professional, extremely kind and always approachable and supportive. They take the time to get to know the individual residents which makes for a relaxed but well-run atmosphere. The home itself is immaculate in décor and presentation with a varied programme of activities for the residents to join in if they wish. Currently, the home is being extended and this will only enhance the facilities available. I can't recommend Cedar House highly enough to anyone who is looking for a kind, safe and caring environment for a loved one.
I like the way in which the care home is turning in to a pleasant place to live.
The care home selectors told us we wouldn't find better, they were right.
It is indeed a true home full of love and care.

The friendliness of staff and residents, and all personnel and anything else are all excellent.
Very satisfactory
Food perfect. Good variety.
I feel very satisfied with the care I receive for my needs. Everyone is friendly and attentive to my requests. The meals are lovely. I am always warm. I feel the staff have got to know me - the things I like and don't like! All round very satisfied.
My aunt has been a resident at Cedar House for just over a year. She has settled well, leaving her own home and independence was very difficult but the safety and comfort she feels here made the transition very much easier than we had thought it would be. There is plenty of activity and friendliness at all time. I feel my aunt is content and well cared for.
I have lived here 15 months and enjoy the experience.
Friendly, caring atmosphere.
The staff at Cedar house were very welcoming, friendly and bubbly. My great aunt told me that she was very much enjoying her time there.
My relative seemed very happy here as they were obviously being cared for very appropriately and professionally.
The care home is excellent in its layout and has all the amenities some could need in the later part of life. The staff are wonderful, caring and very respectful and have a great attitude to the care system they work. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of the type of care they offer without hesitation.
