I'm extremely happy with the care my mother is receiving. From what I have experienced, all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble.

My aunt, who was in poor health and without nearby family, was taken into Gregory House. She settled immediately and was so happy. Everyone made her so welcome and the staff took such good care of her and kept us advised on her wellbeing. I cannot say enough good things about this care home.

My neighbour has been here for a few months and is so happy. The manager and her team are absolutely fantastic. I can't stress enough what a lovely place this is. I only hope, when it's my turn, I can be as happy as my neighbour.

Seeing the difference in my friend and neighbour since she has been in Gregory House has been amazing. After being on her own since her husband died and seeing her become a recluse, she is now a happy and contented person - mixing with people and making friends. The staff have been amazing and so very caring. If I end up in care, I hope I can be in Gregory House.

From the beginning, when my brother and I had to make the difficult decision to look for a care home for our ageing dad (a very difficult and upsetting time) Gregory House and their wonderful staff gave us hope that Dad would be safe and cared for in this beautiful care home. They succeeded beyond our wildest dreams and our heartfelt thanks go to all of them. We are so pleased we chose Gregory House.
From his beautiful room to the bright and airy and clean communal rooms and the lovely garden, Gregory House excelled.
The wonderful catering and fine dining allowed Dad to finally put on a bit of weight!
The most special though is all the wonderful ladies and gents who work at Gregory House. It is to all of them that the bulk of the 5-stars are awarded. From nose to tail they are all worthy of each and every star.

My dad and the family cannot praise Gregory House enough, thank you.

On entrance, Gregory House greets you with an open atmosphere. At all times the staff - management to the 'blitz ladies' (cleaning ladies) come across as friendly and cheerful. They are happy to resolve problems or concerns residents or their dependents may have. Each resident is treated as an individual, listen to and respected. The staff give immediate and attentive responses to requests by the resident or visitor when their caring duties allow as a resident's physical needs, i.e. toilet run, is given priority. Everybody seems to help each other. I would happily recommend Gregory House to anyone who seeks care for their relatives.

Staff are very good if you need to ask any question concerning your loved one, they tell you and make you welcome. You are treated like family. The staff are caring and they make a special effort to keep residents happy. The staff go beyond their duties. They took my husband to the hospital where I met him as I cannot drive and my son could not take him.

I arrived after an operation for a broken hip caused by severe arthritis (particularly in my knees), very painful and not able to do much for myself. The staff here are totally dedicated, although often working under great pressure, and always cheerful. The care is first class, the room is more than adequate for my needs. The food is excellent.

Choosing a care home for a loved one can be very daunting but I could not have found a better place than Gregory House. It is home from home, clean, comfortable and a really lovely environment for the residents. The atmosphere is pleasant, cheerful and friendly. The staff and management care for the residents as if they were their own families. The relationship between staff and residents is exceptional and something to be proud of.

I would like to send my thanks to the wonderful staff and management at Gregory House who cared for my grandmother during her stay there until her recent passing. My lovely nanny was treated with dignity, kindness and given exemplary care by every staff member. I dreaded my nanny going into a care home but it was truly the right place for her, home from home. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate the care she received. Nothing was ever too much trouble. At the end of her life staff were genuine, sympathetic and accommodating of both her needs and ours as a family. The manager and all staff’s professionalism is outstanding. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Gregory House. To all the dear staff you are amazing.

The professional approach is outstanding, even in these difficult times. Prior to my aunt being placed here as a resident, we reviewed a number of care facilities, this came top and subsequently, we know our decision was correct.

If anyone is searching for a care home for a loved one I would strongly recommend Gregory House. Mum was admitted initially for respite but is now recovering from a stroke that took place while she was there. At all times she has received outstanding care and I can't thank the staff enough for their swift action in alerting the emergency services to attend when the stroke occurred. All the staff are very professional while at the same time going out of their way to ensure that all the residents treat the home as their own. Even though the staff have been faced with some challenges in providing care for Mum they have excelled in overcoming these and have provided excellent support and encouragement throughout her recovery period. Visitors are always greeted with a smile and the staff always adhere to the latest Covid-19 protocol which is very reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend Gregory House to anyone due to the excellent level of care offered to all the residents.

My mum has been living at Gregory House since May 2021. She finds the staff supportive and friendly and, most importantly, she says that she feels safe and cared for. I visit twice a week and I am always greeted by friendly staff and I am always made to feel welcome. Every single member of staff at Gregory House goes out of their way to create a friendly environment for both residents and visitors. I cannot praise them enough for their professional and compassionate dedication.

My mother came to Gregory House for respite on arriving she was a bit apprehensive about how she would take to it. On several visits, her morale exceeded my expectations. She was so happy, enjoyed all the things that were going on and the staff she couldn't fault if nothing is too much trouble. I'm sure if it were not for Gregory House my mother would not be here now. They have turned her life around and made life worth living again, many thanks.
