Although visiting has been restricted during the pandemic we have been in contact with our friend by letter and know that he was very happy, relaxed and settled in with the care of staff at Gregory House. He was treated with respect and friendliness. Prior to the restrictions, on our visits, we always found the staff to be helpful, polite and friendly. The housekeeping staff do a wonderful job in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the home. We thoroughly recommend Gregory House for the loving care of friends or relatives.

I couldn't have asked for more loving, respectful and professional care for my Mum and Dad. The team at Gregory House really makes the home feel like family. There is always a warm welcome, with all questions answered and excellent communication. My Mum and Dad have been really happy here and all their needs have been met. They have lots of activities, conversation, good food and nice rooms. When my Mum passed away the team couldn't do enough and were very sensitive and kind. I hope, should my time come to need care, I can come here.

This is not the first home my mum has been in and the two experiences could not be more different. Gregory House is managed exceptionally well by the manager and her team. I always have a clear and prompt line of communication, the feedback is honest yet sensitive and meets all of my needs whilst dealing with my worries. The finances are handled expertly and I am kept reliably informed of the position. The head of care, is an absolutely lovely lady and dedicated professional. I don't need to worry about my mum because she is well cared for, they know her well and they go the extra mile. This is an outstanding home. I have no reservations in recommending this establishment to anyone.

Our family considered ourselves very fortunate to have obtained a place for our mum at Gregory House over a year ago. From our very first visit, we were made extremely welcome by the obviously caring and kind staff, who went out of their way to help Mum settle into her lovely cosy room. Absolutely every aspect of Mum's life is taken care of and she doesn't have to worry about anything, except what to choose from the delicious menu! Medication, cleaning, wonderful hot showers, which she so enjoys, attentive staff who have become friends and tea in bed every morning, luxury for someone who was struggling to cope at home.
During the virus crisis, we have been reassured to see the measures which have been put in place and strictly adhered to by the team. Mum and her friends are in a cocoon, safely away from risk, but somehow with a lot of hard work by the staff, we have still been able to visit and enjoy a catch up as normal.

A heartfelt thanks from us to you all.

My mother has been a resident at Gregory House for a little over a year now.
On arrival, she was made to feel very welcome. Staff went out of their way to do this and quickly built up a strong rapport with her. She is extremely well looked after by all at Gregory House, who are always very accommodating, patient and understanding of her needs and particular 'whims!'
Her medication is expertly managed and administered in a timely manner. The quality and range of food are so good; she has quickly found her appetite again!
The quality of care and attention she consistently receives at Gregory House is extremely high compared with others I have been exposed to.

Thank you all for caring so professionally and compassionately for my mother.

From the start of my stay at Gregory House, my treatment and care have been excellent. All the staff are very sympathetic when we need a bit of cheer. The food is very enjoyable, with choice and presented nicely. Lady in charge of Gregory House and her staff are all bright and cheerful whenever they come to our rooms.

My mother has been very well looked after since she arrived. The staff have been excellent and I believe they have a genuine care ethos for all the residents. Special occasions like birthdays are made what they are, special, with every effort from the staff to make it a memorable day. I work away from home and this home gives me every confidence that my mother is cared for to the best possible standards and dignity.

I came into Gregory House in July 2019 and from my first visit to look around, to the present time, I have been cared for in every way, in a respectful and dignified manner. Nothing is too much trouble for our carers, and I have been encouraged to bring my own furniture and books to make my room cosy. Care, food, entertainment and company all top-notch! Thanks all for doing such a marvellous job.

When I knew mum needed to move to a care home, I researched those available in the area and read the CQC reports. After visiting several, I have no hesitation in choosing Gregory House. My first impression was one of a lovely, caring home where the staff were extremely welcoming and it was clear that the residents were happy and well cared for and plenty of activities to stimulate them.

My husband has been to Gregory House for the last month one day a week. This gives me a break as he has had Alzheimer's/dementia for 5 years and walking difficulties from a blocked artery in his right leg. The care and attention he has received there has been amazing. It is 5 star. They are all friendly, kind and all good at their jobs.
