Your fees cover several areas while in their care.
These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and
snacks, laundry (excluding dry cleaning),
housekeeping, maintenance and activities run by the
home.


Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
services at the time you request them.
They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
be paid for by yourself.

I came into Gregory House in July 2019 and from my first visit to look around, to the present time, I have been cared for in every way, in a respectful and dignified manner. Nothing is too much trouble for our carers, and I have been encouraged to bring my own furniture and books to make my room cosy.
Care, food, entertainment and company all top-notch! Thanks all for doing such a marvellous job.

When I knew mum needed to move to a care home, I researched those available in the area and read the CQC reports. After visiting several, I have no hesitation in choosing Gregory House. My first impression was one of a lovely, caring home where the staff were extremely welcoming and it was clear that

My husband has been to Gregory House for the last month one day a week. This gives me a break as he has had Alzheimer's/dementia for 5 years and walking difficulties from a blocked artery in his right leg. The care and attention he has received there has been amazing. It is 5 star. They are all friendly,
kind and all good at their jobs.

From our first acquaintance with Gregory House, we realised that this was something special. The 'outstanding' award is not given lightly by care home inspectors, and we recognised that this accolade had been applied accurately and appropriately.
Mum, a feisty and independent 99-year-old, had always
been fiercely opposed to the notion of full-time care, but after a few visits, she was won over and happily agreed to join this excellent care home when a place became available; she has been a resident for a fortnight.
The administrators and staff are delightful, skilled and totally committed to the care of their residents. Mum's key worker is a joy and came in during leave to welcome Mum and spend time helping her adjust to new surroundings. Every request and query has been answered with courtesy, resulting in a speedy resolution - nothing has been too much trouble. We are very fortunate that Mum is at Gregory House and completely reassured about the quality of her care provision.

Always friendly staff. It is like a home from home nothing is ever too much trouble and always there to listen and help anytime. Nice and clean ample amount of food and drink. Residents are free to do what they choose, eat what they want, get up when they want and never any pressure. One of the nicest

What can I say. Absolutely fantastic home and staff, especially the senior members of staff bought us so much peace and reassurance that our loved one was looked after and most of all, happy. They sat and listened to not just my family member but all residents there, taking the time to chat about the
old days or make them laugh and you could see the resident's face light up. It's not just a profession to the staff. They really do care and that's what you need when it comes to the hard decision of putting a family member into a home such as Gregory House. I recommend the place a hundred times over. Bright, colourful and a happy environment with warm ethos from the moment you go inside. You can feel the affection shown by staff from the welcome on the point of arrival. Staff work as a team and show real pride in their work. A variety of activities take place. The gardens are attractive and well

We have been coming to volunteer for 2 months. We had a detail induction and have been made very welcome. We have been supported in running a range of activities with the residents. Hello, I am so happy my dad is being so well looked after. All of the staff are so friendly and caring not just to the residents but the family as well. He enjoys the food especially the puddings. He has adjusted really well and is content and happy. He is in a lovely room. He likes to go to bed after
tea and they are happy to assist him.
They treat him and everyone with respect and dignity. I am always really happy to visit him, in fact, it brightens my day too. It's kind of like a home from home. God bless everyone.

Gregory House is a wonderful care home. On each occasion, I visit my father, the staff and management are extremely welcoming throughout my visits and any questions or issues about either my father's welfare of requirements are dealt with quickly and reported back when completed. The food is fantastic
and I often join my father for lunch. Very peaceful and rooms are tidy and adequate. Lots of entertainment is organised and optional, peaceful areas are available too.

There's always a good atmosphere and as vistors, we always feel welcome.
Most carers are kind and helpful, one or two are exceptional.
The care that we have witnessed is good, sometimes more staff are required to help with toileting and baths and showers.
One of the best homes in Grantham. Well done

Dining room floor is never clean, also the tables and chairs.
The staff seem to spend most of their time in the office, not with the residents.
The drain in the car park has been blocked for 12 months, flooding in heavy rain.

Karen Jackson

Job Title: Head of Care Joined: 2019

Karen joined the Trust in 2019 and is a key member of Gregory House’s care team. She is responsible for leading, managing, and supporting the team.


Karen plays a crucial part in care delivery in the home, making sure that care plans are regularly reviewed through ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. She also actively engages with residents and their families to understand each resident’s preferred lifestyle choice in a way that values the individual whilst respecting their dignity and differing preferences.

Ashleigh Pinder

Job Title: Activities Co-ordinator Joined: 2021

Ashleigh joined the Gregory House team in August 2021. Ashleigh is full to the brim of fantastic ideas to keep our residents entertained and stimulated. She has a weekly activities program, which includes something for everyone.

Ruth

Ruth Sansom

Job Title: Cook Joined: 2008

Ruth is Gregory House’s fantastic cook. She has been working for the Trust since 2008. She is directly involved in meeting all resident’s dietary needs and ensuring everyone receives a high-quality dining experience. Ruth goes out of her way to meet individuals’ personal choices and will always cook something different if our residents don’t choose what's on the day’s menu.

Lisa Lawlor

Job Title: Administrator Joined: 1998

Lisa has worked for the Trust in various departments since 1998. She is highly motivated and has excellent organisational skills. Lisa holds Private Secretary’s certificate as well as an RSA Diploma and can write shorthand at 100wpm.


Lisa is on hand to provide guidance and support with finances, contracts, and belongings. She is also your first point of call to show you around the home and answer any initial enquiries.
