This is an excellent care home that always offers a warm friendly welcome when I visit the home. The manager and all the staff are always engaging with the residents, and creating a warm, lovely homely atmosphere. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff, ensuring the residents are looked after and are happy. The home is always lovely, clean and bright with music welcoming you in reception with sweets and chocolates too. When I visit the home I am always offered endless refreshments and the food is of excellent quality. The standards of the home are excellent.

Gregory House is a small and friendly home from home where, as a visitor, I am always made to feel welcome by all management and staff. Mum is watched and cared for to a high standard and staff build up a good relationship with her and really care.
Christmas month provided activities and parties and entertainment. Christmas Day was made special with gifts and a delicious Christmas lunch, all meals provided are excellent with a good choice, especially puddings.

Well done and thank you.

Visited a friend over the festive period and the atmosphere was really lovely. Everyone was really jolly and the residents were all engaged in singing carols. A really lovely home which I know my friend is happy and well looked after it. Thank you Gregory House.

If I ever need this kind of help, I want to come here! A lovely warm welcome from all the staff, especially the manager. This was my first visit and I hope not the last.
Cups of tea and biscuits thrown in and privacy for our visit. I am most impressed and I hope
the manager will be there for many years to come.
My sister looked well and has been well cared for and she even managed to smile all of the time. Proof that she is happy.

A first class plus care home!

My mum has been here for 9 months now. Her happy self is now back to when it used to be. This is because all of the staff have been so attentive, caring and understanding of her needs. In this time we also lost my dad and they managed that situation fantastically. Also, my mum loves being here, this is of great relief to us as I didn't think she would be happy.

My wife came here as a result of vascular dementia and Alzheimer's in early March 2018. I came at the same time. I need to be here but I came to be close to my wife. It took time to settle in because it was a dramatic change. The most important thing for me was diet. I am faddy and fussy and lactose intolerant. This was compounded by a deficiency of some things in my blood. Now the kitchen staff take every means of helping me to eat by making me exceptional pudding and porridge. Care is brilliant, medical attention speedy. Fitting in - I like it here.

Every time I visit Gregory House, the staff are always respectful and caring to the residents. On one occasion I went to visit my mum early. Mum was in her room with a member of staff helping her to get dressed. The member of staff allowed mum to take her time, she didn't rush her, making conversation with mum so making her feel at ease.

There is always so much going on to keep mum happy and occupied from exercise to animals. The staff make you feel at ease. They all look happy making the residents happy. They always keep me informed of mum's progress.

I thought that my last review requires amending. I only scored cleanliness and rooms as good but since this, I have had a tour of the kitchen and bathrooms and was very impressed with how clean they were. My Father was initially in a small room but has now moved to a larger room, (brilliant). If there was a category for 'very excellent' I would tick most boxes as that, especially management and activities.

I am receiving excellent care in this friendly community. I feel that the hard working staff are often pushed to their limits, especially if there is an emergency on staff call in sick. Ideally, we could use several more carers but I realise that budgets are tight.

Gregory House is a modern building set in beautiful gardens in a quiet residential area of Grantham. My mother came here after a short stay in hospital. I am very pleased with the care she receives at Gregory House, all the staff are friendly and caring and seem to know the needs of each individual resident. She has been treated with the utmost dignity and kindness. There is always some form of activity or entertainment during the day, so the residents are certainly not bored. I'm very pleased with this care home, the staff are wonderful and it's a pleasure to visit her here.
