Hartsholme House

I am very grateful to the staff for making my mother feel so much at home during her stay and treating her with both respect and kindness.

My Father stayed at the home for 5 years. The level of care was fantastic. The food was excellent. The staff payed high attention to detail all the time. He was made to feel part of a big family. His room, along with the rest of the home, was always spotless and clean. I would thoroughly recommend Hartsholme House to anyone.

Couldn't ask for a better home for my dad to be cared in. The staff are not only friendly and professional, but they go the extra mile to make me and family feel welcome and involved in my dad's a care.

The standard of care and cleanliness continues to remain high despite setbacks (div etc in house). The managmenet lead the way by the quality of their attitude - really caring and great communication. Very reassuring for us as relatives knowing our loved ones are in good hands. Great teamwork. Really appreciate how they are proactive.

Visit was to see a lond standing, much loved family friend who always says everyone is so kind at Hartsholme.

A first class nursing home. Good staff, well-motivated by a caring team. I sense morale of staff and residents are both high. A welcoming, warm home where you are treated with respect and kindness. Residents always come first. I have visited 4 times, and on each occasion it was a second to none experience. Well done to all.

In Hartsholme House, I see lots of examples of great leadership: Setting an example, being respectful, not only of residents (& their visitors) but also of one another, upholding values of dignity and standards ultimately in the selection of staff who really care about vulnerable people, who speak clearly without impatience of condescenion helping all staff to be leaders and behave accordingly, engaging professionalism so all residents are treated with respect regardless of educational attainment, gender, skin colour, race or religion. I see carers discreetly doing 'the right thing' when no one is watching, eg bringing headgear to protect a resident's head whilst sitting in bright sunshine or checking how a resident acquired scratches on her forearm. HH enriches residents' lives by sharing gardening tasks, hosting religious meetings, and even taking a new resident for walks outside the home, to aid her settling in. From what I see, Hartsholme House is often a joyful place to live with laughter and fun, if you feel like it! Thank you for everything you do for my mother-in-law.

My mother moved here from another care home. We were welcomed from day one. The staff did everything to make my mum feel at ease and comfortable. Throughout her first year here they have been attentive to her needs, shown empathy and kindness and she has even put on weight - which is wonderful. The staff are really caring and communicate effectively with me. I would not hesitate to recommend Hartsholme house - it has to be the best care home in Lincolnshire.

I have always found Hartsholme House to be a clean, warm and friendly environment. The staff promote a positive atmosphere and engage well with all residents. My mother enjoys her time there and always appears positive and energised when I collect her. She participates in the cooking, bingo and other activities provided by the staff. This is an excellent facility managed by caring professional people. I have no hesitation in recommending Hartsholme to anyone.

The staff at Hartsholme House have always treated my friend with the utmost respect and have consistently put their needs first and the senior management are always available to discuss any issues that may arise. It is a lovely place to be, with friendly and dedicated staff who are professional, respectful and caring. The home is clean and the food is good.

I cannot speak highly enough of Hartsholme House, or the staff there. My mum was a resident for over 10 years and I am so thankful that I found Hartsholme. The staff, all of them, knew her and knew her likes and dislikes. They were unfailingly kind, courteous, respectful and caring. Her needs were always put first and they made whatever adaptations and adjustments were necessary. I was always kept informed and consulted. I know that mum was happy, felt safe and cared for. A thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart.

When we meet other residents and their relatives, they also seem happy with the situation and functioning of the staff.

The home is secure, clean and inviting with good facilities and a nice atmosphere.

Hartsholme house is an excellent care home, all the staff are very caring and support the individuals needs on a daily basis. There is a lot of activities for the residents to enjoy and participate in. I am happy that my parents are safe and well looked after.

The home is spotlessly clean, warm, homely and the food is prepared by excellent chefs and kitchen staff. Some of the staff have been there a long time which is testament to a good management team. It's a place I would recommend without hesitation.

It is clearly very well staffed with highly competent carers who, without exception are friendly, helpful and appear to enjoy working at Hartsholme House. I want to give a mention to the management, support staff and all who work behind the scenes. All deserve credit.

My Dad has been resident at Hartsholme House since Nov 21 and I have nothing but praise for the standard of care he receives. It is not just a place to live but a place to call home. The staff are kind, caring and person centred, respectful of each individuals needs, accommodating their likes and dislikes and embracing their personalities. Dad has always felt safe and settled here, not easy to achieve when you live with dementia, and I am able to relax knowing he is well looked after. I would not hesitate to recommend Hartsholme House to anyone.

I'm so pleased mum is in Hartsholme House. It's a wonderful care home and I wouldnt want mum anywhere else. The staff are brilliant, so kind and friendly and they genuinely care about the residents. Best decision I made in respect of her care.

My mother chose Hartsholme House as respite care for my father in 2020 secretly knowing he would never go home. Mum sadly passed away three months later knowing dad was now being cared for. Hartsholme House has continued to care for dad in the best possible ways, all his needs are met and although he suffers from dementia and Parkinson's and is now completely immobile he continues to thrive.
