Collingtree Park is a residential care home in Northampton, with convenient access to the M1 for visitors. The home is set in the beautiful surroundings of Collingtree Park Golf Course and has leisure and shopping facilities nearby. The purpose-built home offers easy, modern and comfortable living, and landscaped gardens to the front and rear which are accessible to residents for fine-weather activities and outdoor socialising.

Collingtree Park provides residential care and support for a variety of needs relating to ageing and dementia. The highly motivated team focuses on the individual needs of residents, with personal care plans for each resident and a range of activities with something of interest to everyone.

Family and friends are welcome to visit anytime and take part in regular relatives' meetings where all ideas and suggestions are enthusiastically received by the General Manager.

Collingtree Park offers respite care which can be pre-booked up to a year in advance. All rooms are fully furnished, with en-suite facilities, and the lounges and dining areas have doors opening onto the lovely gardens.

I would not recommend any particular provider or care home as I feel the responsibility to be too great. I would of course tell of my experiences at Collingtree truthfully. The Resident's meetings can be helpful. Decisions on matters raised should and must be referred back to the resident concerned.
I am content living at Collingtree.

Mum was in the home for a few months. She had come to a new area so it was very challenging for her. All the staff seemed kind and helped her to settle in. The carers always picked up on things that weren't right and sorted things out. Mum also enjoyed the 3-course meals and going into the garden.

To me, one of the most impressive features of Collingtree Park is the whole culture and stability of the staff. The same staff I met when my mother moved into the home three years ago were there at her bedside when she passed away. For dementia sufferers, this stability is so important. Care is given
with genuine compassion. Staff befriend the residents and get to know their idiosyncrasies and preferences. The food is excellent and plentiful. The home is clean, spacious and very friendly. Management are accessible and keen to listen. Naturally, it is not a cheap option but it does represent true value for a loved one as they near the twilight of their life.

When my husband was admitted as an emergency referral, the staff were wonderful and couldn't have been kinder or more caring.
As his stay progressed, we hit problems. He needs to get outside and that rarely happened. He paced the corridors so much that he lost a lot of weight and got blisters on his
feet. When he left the home, he had run out of several important medications which they said they would get.

I have been here for 6-months, and from the initial contact, I was impressed with the professionalism, but the proof of the pudding has been beyond my expectations. From the manager to the carers, housekeeping, and catering staff, no matter how busy they are there’s always a smile and time for ‘just
me’. How rare is that?
When I first decided it was time to “put myself” into a care home I was worried I’d become 'institutionalised'. Not a bit of it. It’s the best decision I have made since saying yes when my late husband proposed.
What more can I say? No, I won’t say I’m happy, because my husband isn’t here, but I will say I am more than content, and how lucky I am to be here at Collingtree.

My husband comes to Colingtree Park for respite and also keeps in touch with everyone by coming and having his hair cut every couple of months. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and the accommodation is excellent. Always a friendly welcome as soon as you walk through the door.

Looking for a home suitable for a loved one is such a difficult and emotional decision. However, I would not hesitate in recommending Collingtree Park to anyone. My father-in-law resided at the home for just over seven years. The staff got to know him really well in order to give him the best/most
appropriate care they could. As a family, we were welcome at any time and had great working relationships with the staff. My father-in-law's care was as personalised as possible and he thrived in the home due to the care and attention he was paid. He was a man that always enjoyed food and this continued whilst at Collingtree Park. There was never a complaint made by him about the quality or quantity offered to him. Something that impressed us further in terms of the food was the way the food was presented, even when it was necessary to puree it in order that he could eat. Again - care and attention throughout. As a family, we were never in any doubt that he was safe and looked after.

Mum came in for a week of respite care and a chance to convalesce. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so kind and caring and made mum feel really at home. She said the food was wonderful and it was like being on holiday having a cooked breakfast every morning. We could not fault the service and care
received and sending mum home with an afternoon tea hamper was such a lovely end to the week. She said she will definitely come back.

From two weeks respite care to full-time care, we have found the time, trouble and understanding from every member of staff have been exemplary. The home is welcoming and friendly and genuinely caring. We are not happy that Mother has had to go into full-time care, but we are extremely happy that we

My mother seems very happy. Her needs are being met. Her skin and hair always look good and she is comfortable. Staff respond promptly and effectively to any issues raised. Whilst my mother has limited mobility (needs assistance and unable to move independently) and Alzheimer's, she is encouraged to
voice her wishes. Would like more activities to be regularly undertaken.

Mum thought the staff were professional and friendly but would have liked more activities. She says she felt "invisible" at times. However, I do know that she is a very quiet person and never brings attention to herself. Needs a lot of encouragement, has no confidence.

Was a delight to go into such a lovely welcoming care home. Staff so very friendly and caring and nothing too much trouble. My Mother felt very at home, lovely gardens, lounges and staff so kind. She is looking forward to the next booking we have made for December 2019.

My mother has been in Collingtree for six weeks now having moved from another care home. It has been a revelation to see how good a home can be in comparison to where she was before. She is extremely well cared for by lovely staff. She is comfortable, relaxed and happy with her room and the outlook.
She finds the food very good, loves the gardens and the dining room and lounge that are very pleasant rooms. We are very happy to see her so well settled already.

The recent stay was my husband's second time in Collingtree and he was welcomed back readily with staff pleased to see him. The standard all round was excellent. He was eager to go on an outing and this was possible. Two deep baths in the home another highlight. Hoping to revisit in February 2020.

My husband had a weeks respite in Collingtree Park Care Home. He was happy with everything, apart from the bed, as he sleeps in a recliner chair at home. Mu husband likes to be out in the garden when possible and talking to people. Also, he prefers all his meals in the dining room. Staff were very caring.

My name is Fay, and I bring 29 years of dedicated experience within the care sector. I began my career at 18 as a carer in a dementia-specialist home, where I quickly discovered my passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Over the years, I progressed through various roles — from Senior Carer to Deputy Manager — and by the age of 23, I was appointed as a Registered Home Manager.


In that role, I successfully managed a 64-bed home with over 90 staff, achieving full occupancy, a perfect 10 rating on carehome.co.uk, and receiving multiple industry awards. My commitment to excellence and team development led me to a broader operational role as an Operational Support Manager, where I travelled across the South East of England, supporting care homes with compliance, performance improvement, and leadership mentoring.


While I found the regional support role rewarding, I deeply missed the sense of connection and camaraderie that comes with leading a dedicated team in a care home setting. This brought me back to where my heart truly lies — applying once again for a Home Manager position, where I can lead by example, build strong relationships, and make a tangible difference in the lives of residents and staff.

My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.


Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.

Hello, my name is Midhun, and I'm the receptionist and administrative assistant here at Collingtree Park.


I am a dedicated and experienced Care Home Administrator with a strong background in administration.


We have fantastic residents at Collingtree Park; it's a pleasure to watch them flourish.

Tamara Mano

Job Title: Second Chef Joined: 2018

Hello. I am Tamara, Second Chef at Collingtree Park. I have always loved cooking for myself and have developed my career in food since coming from Greece to the UK.


Collingtree Park feels like a big family - I cook with love, as I would for my own family. I research recipes online and try them at home to get them just right for our residents. I like cooking main courses, making them attractive, hearty and full of flavour. I am already working on menus for next season.


I can adapt any of my recipes for people with allergies or swallowing difficulties, so they can enjoy the same flavours as everyone else.


I also make cakes and other treats for birthdays and events.

Prasanna Sivakumar

Job Title: Home Administer Joined: 2025

I have joined the Barchester family as the Home Administrator at Collingtree Park in Aug 2025. I bring with me over 25 years of experience in Healthcare and Hospitality Management, having worked across various departments, including Finance, HR, Administration, and customer-facing services.


My recent experience includes working within specialist mental health hospitals, nursing and residential homes, as well as the NHS, where I’ve developed a strong understanding of both Administrative and operational needs in healthcare settings. I’m passionate about ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing high-quality support to both staff and residents.


I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Collingtree Park and supporting our team in delivering excellent care.
