My name is Fay, and I bring 29 years of dedicated experience within the care sector. I began my career at 18 as a carer in a dementia-specialist home, where I quickly discovered my passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Over the years, I progressed through various roles — from Senior Carer to Deputy Manager — and by the age of 23, I was appointed as a Registered Home Manager.
In that role, I successfully managed a 64-bed home with over 90 staff, achieving full occupancy, a perfect 10 rating on carehome.co.uk, and receiving multiple industry awards. My commitment to excellence and team development led me to a broader operational role as an Operational Support Manager, where I travelled across the South East of England, supporting care homes with compliance, performance improvement, and leadership mentoring.
While I found the regional support role rewarding, I deeply missed the sense of connection and camaraderie that comes with leading a dedicated team in a care home setting. This brought me back to where my heart truly lies — applying once again for a Home Manager position, where I can lead by example, build strong relationships, and make a tangible difference in the lives of residents and staff.
Hello, my name is Debbie and I'm the Head of Unit for our Memory Lane Community here at Collingtree Park. I have had the pleasure of working within the home and caring for our residents here for 25 years. Dementia care is my passion, part of my role is to ensure our residents living with dementia continue to have purpose and fulfilment in their everyday lives. I'm extremely proud of the personalised care our staff deliver, seeing the happiness it brings to residents is priceless.
Hello, my name is Martin, welcome to our ‘Life’ at Collingtree Park Care Home page.
Hello, my name is Martin, welcome to our ‘Life’ at Collingtree Park Care Home page where you'll find regular updates on all we've been doing, including the events we have planned.
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.
We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact the activities team direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Hello. I am Tamara, Second Chef at Collingtree Park. I have always loved cooking for myself and have developed my career in food since coming from Greece to the UK.
Collingtree Park feels like a big family - I cook with love, as I would for my own family. I research recipes online and try them at home to get them just right for our residents. I like cooking main courses, making them attractive, hearty and full of flavour. I am already working on menus for next season.
I can adapt any of my recipes for people with allergies or swallowing difficulties, so they can enjoy the same flavours as everyone else.
I also make cakes and other treats for birthdays and events.
I have joined the Barchester family as the Home Administrator at Collingtree Park in Aug 2025. I bring with me over 25 years of experience in Healthcare and Hospitality Management, having worked across various departments, including Finance, HR, Administration, and customer-facing services.
My recent experience includes working within specialist mental health hospitals, nursing and residential homes, as well as the NHS, where I’ve developed a strong understanding of both Administrative and operational needs in healthcare settings. I’m passionate about ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing high-quality support to both staff and residents.
I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Collingtree Park and supporting our team in delivering excellent care.
