Hello, my name is Martin, welcome to our ‘Life’ at Collingtree Park Care Home page where you'll find regular updates on all we've been doing, including the events we have planned.
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.
We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact the activities team direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Hello. I am Tamara, Second Chef at Collingtree Park. I have always loved cooking for myself and have developed my career in food since coming from Greece to the UK.
Collingtree Park feels like a big family - I cook with love, as I would for my own family. I research recipes online and try them at home to get them just right for our residents. I like cooking main courses, making them attractive, hearty and full of flavour. I am already working on menus for next season.
I can adapt any of my recipes for people with allergies or swallowing difficulties, so they can enjoy the same flavours as everyone else.
I also make cakes and other treats for birthdays and events.
I have joined the Barchester family as the Home Administrator at Collingtree Park in Aug 2025. I bring with me over 25 years of experience in Healthcare and Hospitality Management, having worked across various departments, including Finance, HR, Administration, and customer-facing services.
My recent experience includes working within specialist mental health hospitals, nursing and residential homes, as well as the NHS, where I’ve developed a strong understanding of both Administrative and operational needs in healthcare settings. I’m passionate about ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing high-quality support to both staff and residents.
I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Collingtree Park and supporting our team in delivering excellent care.
Hello, my name is Eva, and I am the Operations Manager here at Collingtree Park Care Home.
I joined Barchester in June 2025 but bring over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare sector. I started my career as a Registered General Nurse in 2000, when I moved to England from my home country of Spain, and have run many homes as a Registered General Manager, leading successful teams and creating thriving communities for residents, staff, families and the wider public.
I believe that outstanding care starts with amazing people, and I am passionate about creating a supportive and vibrant community where both staff and residents feel safe, valued and can flourish. I am also an advocate for mental health awareness, well-being and encouraging positive psychology. I want our residents to feel that life just begins when they join our care home, where we offer quality care, nutritious food, and enriching activities in beautiful, homely environments.
Outside of work, I focus on staying active, whether this be walking, hiking, dancing or going to the gym. I am a fan of good food, and I am very lucky that my Husband is an amazing cook, so I look forward to coming home to his delicious homemade cuisine.
